  1. Hello  , great, what you have done with the Nexus sites, since last year, when I was here the last time - thank you for all your work ! Despite my Thanks, I have have found a little fault: the button "nexusnetwork" is not there (in the right upper corner) on the sites in Skyrim Nexus. I just want to let you know this ;) ;) Greetings Roana
  2. Hello no, it would cause serious conflicts with some quests, you will have to do for the different houses in a different way. I don't want to give spoilers here, but trust me: step away from this idea, its not a good idea ;) Greetings Roana
  3. Hello for you and all, who read this post and are also new to play this old game, I guess the following link, I stumbled over a few weeks ago, might be useful: http://morrowind2009.wordpress.com/ I myself have updated my game with my choose of the mods of provided links there (the most, but not all) and when I have updated my own huge mod to make it compatible with Better ClothesI will play a new Morrowind, I hope. On the site above all things are explained, all links are up to date, and it is ever mentioned, which mods are compatible with others and which not... superb :) Greetings Roana
  4. Hello, the correct term to change something with the console is to _use_ the quotes around the ID that should be changed. So you can solve your problem with this term: player->additem "ebony_bracer_left" 1 With this term in basic you write a script command, so for example the meaning of the above is: Object = player shall do = -> Action = additem what = "Item ID" how many = 1 In scripts in Morrowind IDs always have to be set in quotes. For example you can also change the current weather, if you are tired of _again_ ashstorm, rain, whatever (e.g. changeweather "Ashlands Region" 1), but for this, you would have to know, in which region you are and what weather have which number (e.g. 1 = cloudy) ;) I hope this helps to understand, what you are doing in the console. Greetings Roana (who wish, 3dsMax would be for free, cause I have a problem with a mesh, I want for my own texture - a good looking face for my char *sigh*)
  5. Hello, I just stumbled over the same problem per accident (making my own logo-pictures for installed Mods, that doesn't have one): If you disable everything according the Online-features, the screenshot is not taken. So enable at least something like "automatically download old content" (don't know, how it calls exactly in English). It seems, the the Screenshot-feature is bound closely to the Online-features, and the game don't like to take screenshots, if all these features are disabled... hm... (I would say typical EA - as they love to control as much as they can about players behaviour, stealthed as easy to use service - The reason for me, to disable most of the online-features  ) Regards Roana
  6. You may try, to pause the game before taking a screenshot.
  7. Hello, have you controlled, if a screenshot is there in your C:\documents\(your name)\my documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Screenshots\User folder? If you make a screenshot in Dragon Age, it seems, that nothing happens, but the screenshot is taken anyway. If you have enabled, to be informed, if a screenshot is taken, in the options, it only informs you about automatically taken screenshots, which you can find in this folder: C:\documents\(your name)\my documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Screenshots\Story But the game give no feedback for the screenshots, you have made manually, even it it has make it right. By the way, it is only the button printscreen - the button f12 does not work in Dragon Age: Origins  Greetings Roana
  8. Hello, you have 1 mod, that might alter this helm (although I'm not sure, as I have never installed this mod). As I'm not at your PC, I can't say exactly, where the error might be. In addition, sometimes DAO does not recognize correctly an Addin as deinstalled. I have seen it once after uninstalled a mod, that it was still present in my AddIns.xml and not deleted there as it should have to. So you can TRY: - reinstall No Helmet Hack don't care about uninstalling a mod which requires no further configuration in the override (= a *.dazip mod), cause DAUpdater (and also DAO-Modmanager) will override every reinstalled mod with the same files. This will also force to change the AddIns.xml, cause this file will be changed and the mod in it at its current place deleted (as if you have uninstalled it) and then re-added at the end of the list in it. This may repair an Addins.xml, where an uninstalled mod not correctly has be deleted in it. Thats what I would try to do, before I would made the effort to reinstall the whole game  Greetings Roana
  9. Hello, the link for the Blender-Script (I use it, only to extract ".erf" files): http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=268 Greetings Roana
  10. Hello, there is no such command in the scripts in DAO. You can read, what possibilities are there, if you open the "Scripts.erf" with a simple text-editor located in the core/data folder in the installations folder, where you can also find the DAUpdater (so NOT under My Documents/etc. ) This is one of the few ".erf" files that are readable even without any special tool installed. It is a list of all script commands, variables and integers, with comments from the programmers  ) I have read it, before I recognized, that the toolset and my Os don't want to cooperate equal, what I'm trying to do. Unfortunately, I haven't found a good modded script decompiler/compiler yet, even if I have found a modded way, to open the ".erf"-files and entpack them, I cannot write even simple scripts for DAO, cause I can get the sources now, but can't compile them. Well, that's what I'm doing instead of playing: search for good tools, that will deal with modding this game without the toolset installed... I wish the time back, as I had only to get Near Infinity (for BG1&2) and work with one bugfree tool with a whole large game... *sigh* Hope that helps a bit Greetings Roana
  11. Hello, I have mine posted here: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=191263 Have Fun  Roana
  12. Hello, if you have installed the Patch v1.03, then this _is_ caused by the Patch, although EA/Bioware doesn't say much about details, what this Patch does  But... they do say in a very hidden way, that this is "...some sort of recent game patch..." - They say about this patch: ".....* Various changes have been made to code and resources........." If you match this with the file size of the Patch (63MB - CODE and resources), then you should think of a _very_ recent Patch (even together with the few other written changes, a modder would make in a much smaller file) I suppose, that they have written half or more of the core-code new.... check out this thread at Bioware, what the Patch causes to many others (but - sure - not _all_ players): http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/1633999/1 If you don't mean this Patch, forget, what I have written  Greetings Roana
  13. Hello, Well, I'm playing with all of the following Mods, which are bugfree for me, with only the Patch 1.02 installed (cause with Patch 1.03 or Awakening some of them will not work, it screws them up). I have them copied from my folders, so the names may contain version-information, and be some different from what the links are pointing too  : Highly recommended: Advanced_Tactics 3.0 BETA http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=181 Advanced Tactics 30beta fix-01 http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=852 More Tactic Slots per Level http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=919 Advanced_Quickbar http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=706 Critical Hit Chance Quickfix http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=433 BagOfHolding101 (storage) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=167 tal_storage_chest (more storage) http://social.bioware.com/project/463/ Beyond Ferelden Base Chest (and more storage) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=61 Gear Racks - scarab_storage_1.3 (and more storage) http://social.bioware.com/project/1041/ The_Magic_Box (and more storage with some other features) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=457 TWF v0.4.2 (The Winter Forge) (although it's complex, it's awesome, if you choose to deal with it  ) http://social.bioware.com/project/672/ Homepage and manuals: http://dragonage.phaenan.net/ Less barking dog (for a more quite camp and so more ambient) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=130 Recommended: Advanced_Party http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=598 Ancient Elven Boots Fix http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=238 Arcane Warrior Casting Fix http://social.bioware.com/project/683/ att_ski_tal_book (5 books on every game loading but - they are stackable - so they only use 5 places in my BagOfHolding  - allows controll over your characters and your companions skills, talents and attributes, without any other complex mod or console (although its a bit cheating, but when I get Zevran in level 15 or higher, he has a red steel longsword, but not the required strength, so if you unequipp his longsword, he can't re-equip it... - and... if I really want a spell, I don't have to wait to level up  ) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=67 Item Leveler (very helpful, but don't level all Items by yourself, if you are a higher Arcane Warrior - maybe, your companions cannot wear them after you have done, because of missing required Stats) (you will have to keep these 2 items in your inventory, or you will get them new) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=593 Dog_Gift_Tweaks http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=635 For Arcane Warrior: Open Lock Spells (especially for Ostagar - the first time you come there and you are not a Rogue - all chests except the one for the quest will stay closed for you without this spell  ) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=157 Spell Shaping Skill (very helpful) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=483 Deluxe_Dusk_Equipment (although they will reappear in your inventory on save game load, if you put them in a chest, they are helpful - you can avoid the reappearing by storing them in your BagOfHolding  ) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=589 Wings Of Velvet 1.1a (for aesthetic) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=712 The Ivory Tower v1.3a and Nightfall Bloom v1.3 (for aesthetic) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=645 Legacy of Sundown (for aesthetic) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=829 For more choices when creating your character: More Hairstyles http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=392 Beautiful People Hair REN http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=750 Pineappletree s Vibrant Colors http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=153 CC Extra Tints and Tones http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=69 CS - NEW tints for hairs http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=651 Pineappletree s Vibrant Eye Colors (my installation: with NO Replacement) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=120 I have more Mods installed, mostly Item-Mods, but I think, you should browse the web and choose them by yourself :) I also recommend DAO-Modmanager for installing Mods, if you want a good manager (although I didn't have used it, I have tested both, DAModder and DAO-Modmanager - and DAOModmanager runs smoother on my PC (although it has already some little bugs, cause it's relative new). In addition, DAModder stays now in Beta-Status since December 2009, and I believe, that the author haven't any more time, to improve it. But it's only my humbly opinion  I hope, this help you a little out of your problem  Greetings Roana
  14. Hello, have you installed the Patch 1.03? Or Awakening? I have read, that this is a spell, Bioware has overriden in them in some way... See here for more info: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/1633999/1 Greetings Roana
