  1. Help me bring sheathes and scabbards to 2hw weapons oh wise and mighty DOUBLEBREWSKI! =p
  2. Thanks for that tutorial. I've been struggling to figure this out all day long. Thanks so much!
  3. Yes. That's basically what it's for. I'm in the process of converting DemonZariche's Bustersword mod from Oblivion to Skyrim. The Nifskope part was easy. I'm having trouble getting the item to work as a new one with TESSnip.
  4. I was having the same problem with a sword I converted from an Oblivion mod. To test it, I simply overwrote the SteelGreatsword.nif to see if it worked in game. When the game loaded, my companion was carrying my Skyforge Steel Greatsword, which was replaced by the new model. When I took it from her inventory, it appeared as the regular sword in both my hand and my inventory. Then it occurred to me that Bethesda used 1stPerson nifs for weapons and items that appear close up in 1st person view in Fallout 3. That way, they can have a lower quality texture on the 3rd person version and no one really notices. So, I found the 1stPersonSteelGreatsword.nif in the BSA and using the Nifskope method mentioned at the beginning of this post, I overwrote that one with my new nif and the weapon appeared correctly in menu and hands. Hope that helps.
  5. I just wanted to say thanks to neko1kitty for the obscure, ingenious, and utterly amazing suggestion for fixing that audio glitch in Fallout: New Vegas. I purchased the game about a week after it's triumphant release and have been frantically searching for a working solution to this exact problem since then. Running the game in windowed mode wasn't much of a solution either and nothing else I've tried has worked. I would never have even considered using a patch from another game. Luckily, I stumbled upon your post late last night and it worked like a charm! Thank you very much.
  6. Greetings fellow modders, It all started with a request from my buddy Jasen to make a red plaid teddy bear. After making the texture, I decided to make a few more to go with it. Now I have plaid teddies in several different colors, and even some camo ones: http://clip2net.com/clip/m20615/1263156545-clip-352kb.jpg All the while, I was disappointed in the look of the eyes. I want to have buttons for eyes. So, I made some simple button meshes in Blender and now I need help attaching them to the teddy bear mesh. http://clip2net.com/clip/m20615/1263154578-clip-311kb.jpg I'm not new to modding in general, but I have never quite figured out animation/rigging. I use Blender and Nifskope frequently, but I'm still a novice with both. My attempt to combine the button meshes to the Bears so far have been less than spectacular. If anyone would like to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong please post a reply or send me an email at DoubleBrewski Thanks.
