  1. I thought i had made Cloaks optional? I already know how to remove masters from the list post creation. I do have to rebuild the mod from the ground up it's current... form is bad and i need to fix it. Now i'm willing to bet that the problem is being caused by cloaks. Unfortunately that doesn't explain the crash i get when dissabling Darnguard or hearthfire.... Again whatever the situation is it's not showing up in the master file lists entirely. As you clearly saw Dawnguard and Hearthfire are not there. But i can produce a crash by dissabling them in my load order... Given that i would say they for some reason required files? but idk why.
  2. Ok so. Here is my issue i believe i've posted about this before but after finally taking a look at my mod in the CK the suggestion i was given would not seem to be the answer to this problem. For some reason my mod Hold Specific Armors will not work if the game being ran does not have Dawnguard, or hearthfire installed. The mod for some reason requires both. Even in some cases the mod requires some other unknown file to run because friends of mine with dawnguard and hearthfire who have tried the game Still have issues getting it to start beyond the logo. I'm very new to modding so i'm willing to bet i screwed up somewhere. But i'm not sure what i could've done that caused this. I've modified another file for another person but it too has the same issues, if Dawnguard or hearthfire are missing from the game it causes a crash after the logo. What i'm looking for is a sure fire way to open this mod up to others who do not have these games and fix my crashing issues. The only way to do this that i've thought of is to uninstall my skyrim re-install minus my mods (Excluding the required immersive armors) and minus the official DLCs to prevent what would apparently be the somehow accidental loading of multiple .esms of which i apparently have no control of. So thoughts on ways to avoid doing that or general concensus as to how to fix this with out doing that.
  3. That is a new Acronym Thank You. I'll have to remember that one it will save so much space elsewhere.
  4. @Lisnpuppy thank you for confirming that thought @MShoap What is this IIRC you speak of? I'm relatively new to this so i'm not so familiar with all of the terminology. I will definately try the ctrl+del thing though. Thanks
  5. First i apologize if this has been asked before however i'm quite thoroughly stumped. Second:Somehow i've managed to make a mod that requires both dawnguard and hearthfire, which i own, but this was not intended and too my knowledge these 2 addons shouldn't be required by what the mod does (all it does is edit the guards gear). These were both unticked in the Creation Kit I tripple checked. so i'm not quite sure what the issue is. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can fix this?
  6. You know... All i've ever seen where the ads are supposed to be is Black boxes. And i'm not using an Adblocker or any software that prevents ads :?
  7. Ok after spending a f***ing hour redoing everything and creating multiple custom outfits and figuring out leveled lists I still have the same result except it is worse now than before. No one is wearing any of their armor, though some people are clearly still carrying it -.- please someone help me.
  8. So for the past 2 days i've been working practically non-stop on pulling this off, I've gone into the CK and replaced all the contents of all the outfit lists with custom armors (most from Immersive armors) for the hold guards for Falkreath, the Reach, Hjaalmarch, Haafingar, the Pale, Winterhold, Windhelm, The Rift. Guards in those holds no longer wear any armor, However the Guards in Whiterun i replaced their armor by making a brand new outfit for and that seems to be working, however that approach seems possibly incompatible with Cloaks of skyrim for guards, this was something i wanted to avoid by hopefully doing the other approach. But alas it is apparently for not since that approach doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the 1st approach to work instead of setting up brand new outfits, or does anyone know how to make random Lists that i can add into a new outfit list. EDIT: what i have noticed is that the CK doesn't seem to be saving the new armors to these lists I don't know or understand why but it's not.
  9. i am looking to do something similar and i was thinking the replacer approach might be better off due to how easy it should be, can you give a walkthrough for your method? because i inted to go through and Give each Town's gaurd a different Armor Set for example if you've played with immersive armors Falkreath would where the Falkreath Hold Armor set, I would retexture or craft new armors for the other holds, except for windhelm or the rift perhaps. (i wouldn't be making it public without hoths permision of course this is a simply private thing) So if you could walk us through your suggestion i would appreciate it? but how would you go abotu doing either? Does simply adding another .dds file of the same name as the default one override the default set by the game?
  10. I'm having a similar issue, (i think it's a corrupted save on my end however as previously wiht another character running the same mods all was fine), we do have Frostfall in common (as long as you're referring to Frostfang Manor mod). Perhaps it is responsible? edit my mistake i have frostfang manor* not frostfall* edit edit: not related to any mods, it's probably a corrupted save in all honestly (skyrim was just recently re-installed after a Creation Kit situation gone arry yet that save loaded in after re-install it was probably a bad idea to keep playing with it.)
  11. Thank you very much i will quickly try this out.
  12. So i've been trying to tinker with a mod i have since earlier today i ran into a glitch where i instantly die after coming out of prison. i've been trying to circumvent this, and i've succeeded to a degree. However the new .pex file that is compiled from the .psc renders other aspects of the mod non-functional. After comparing the original .pex with the new one i've noticed a ~4 or 5 kb discrepency in size, and i'm wondering if perhaps the modder didn't include all the code in the .psc they distributed for general use. So i'm asking is there a way that i can convert the original .pex into a .psc so that i can look at the code in that specifically and edited more accurately? sorry if this is a really basic thing or has been asked before (i'm new to modding and such, normally i only install them, i don't typically tinker/make them) also should my scripts folder have .pex of all the same .psc's in the source folder? (just incase i compiled something wrong.)
  13. some of those lines might also be hiding in a file called update.ini
