  1. I'm fairly certain Ulfric's intentions were to kill Torygg in the duel. That doesn't make it murder. "Hey guys, I need to somehow get rid of Torygg, so I can be high king, wat do?" The only logical answer would be to kill the High King put in place by the Empire, by ancient Nordic law, which would include killing him in a duel. If Torygg agrees to a fight to the death, I don't see why everyone needs to get their panties in a twist if the winner of the duel was Ulfric. Also, yes, it was a message to the other Jarls, because it's a statement that says, "Look, Torygg is a false king, and he has been brought down." It's showing the other Jarl's that Ulfric is obeying tradition, that the other Jarl's have seem to forgotten.
  2. I read through about eleven pages of this topic, and reading it made me only support Ulfric stronger, so many people in this topic seem to think he's the devil incarnate, and that killing Torygg was "MURDER WITHOUT SYMPATHY". I don't know what points were made since then, but killing someone is a duel does not mean it's murder. Way of the voice is not magic, it was used by Talos, and Nords respect Talos, so I see no reason why it would be 'illegal' to use it in a duel. A duel of which no one knows the rules of. "Oh no Ulfric is a monster for Murdering Torygg". Torygg accepted the duel knowing full well the outcome, and it was according to the ancient Nordic laws. I'm a firm supporter of the Stormcloaks, because they're doing nothing wrong. Skyrim is their homeland, (The Nedes came from Atmora long ago and settled there in Skyrim.) and the Stormcloaks are simply defending their land from Elves who think they're better than man. Seriously, how would you feel if Someone came up to you and told you Jesus was not a legitimate religious figure, then banned him, even if you, and everyone in your country worshiped him? You'd be mad as hell. Talos was a god of men, and the Mer are only banning him to feel superior, I fully support the Nords worship of Talos. (Also, if Talos wasn't a god, how can he still give you divine protection at his shrines?" I really don't know what else was said. But I support the Stormcloaks entirely, and I believe they're doing the right thing.
  3. This topic seems like a cry for attention to me. If you really believed this was why modding 'rocks', you would've kept it to yourself. I believe Lore-friendly mods are what 'rocks', but you don't see me creating topics about such. Regardless, everyone has their own taste, yours is not mine, and I'll leave it at that.
  4. I've been having the same exact problems with trying to import .nif files from Oblivion. It'll only show up as the missing texture image in the CK, even if it looks fine in nifskope. Sorry I don't have the answer OP, but I'll be watching this topic for the answer, if it is provided.
  5. Alright, I moved Oblivion from Program Files (x86) to C:/Games, and Neither my DLC bonus things, like Horse Armor or the wizards tower, or the LODGen, can recognize Oblivion. I keep getting messages about how I should install Oblivion on my computer. I have no clue how to get the files to understand that Oblivion IS on my computer, just in another directory. Any help, or am I too vague? EDIT: Resolved! Simply had to 'unistall it' from the other location and 'install it' over my current game.
  6. Oh wait, if you said OOO and Fran didn't work together without FCOM, then wouldn't I be able to just install OOO instead of Just Fran? Cause the features in OOO seem like they'd be more appealing. Also, can someone link me to the correct OOO files? I think the ones I have are incorrect. =/
  7. Ohh, Okay. Well, I'm enjoying MMM and Fran, So I think I'm good for the moment. I'll work on getting OOO later on. It's too much of a pain at the moment. Thanks for the assistance~
  8. Thanks, I changed it to another location. I slowly added the mods one at a time, and they're all fine, until I had OOO. So, if Fran, MMM and Bob work fine, I don't even see why I need FCOM. I'm pretty sure I can go without OOO.
  9. I don't see how it could be corrupted. I downloaded mine from PlanetElderScrolls, I believe.
  10. I'm using Vista. I've installed Oblivion to C:/Program Files (x86)/ Bethesda Softworks/ Oblivion. I wasn't aware I shouldn't be putting Oblivion in that directory. And yes, I'm using Wyre Bash. I read about how I should use the bashed patch, 0 and select Repair Patch - then Select Option two, and leveled lists. Then it should create a bashed patch. I'm using the following Files: FCOM convergence 9.9 MMM373BSA + MMM_37b3_Public Release OOO_133_Patch_OMOD Ready + OOO_134_Beta_5_Patch Bobs_Armory_Oblivion1_1 Both of Fran's Installers Oblivion WarCry EV + OWC_Patch_1.08b_1.085b Are any of the above files wrong? Also, if I decide to say screw it, will the individual pieces of the FCOM thing work fine? Like if I just want Bob's Armory and MMM?
  11. So, I've been spending the last 17 hours trying to get FCOM 9.9 to work with my game. I can get it all to work, except for the fact that either People are missing their bodies, their weapons, or things like crates and boxes won't appear. I've done everything needed several times over, and I'm still not getting it to work. I don't see how it doesn't want to display the meshes, I know I put them in there. Soo.. Yeah. How can I get it working? I know I'm being vague, but I can't explain it too well. EDIT: So, I went ahead and followed a different guide, everything installed correctly, but still I get the "No mesh" image all over the place. Are the files missing meshes? Is my load order wrong? I'm using BOSS to order it.
