  1. So, when you've got a hundred soul gems, a big list of enchantments and stacks items, it's gonna be horrible doing everything one at a time, which the game has me do. I think it could be massively improved with either -The game remembers what you picked, and sticks with those selections after an enchantment, like when alchemy is successful. -You can use a slider to dictate how many you make. Such a mod would be essential.
  2. Well, I am working on some mods to make skyrim better. But for everything id need a team. What i want to do to skyrim Firstly to put a clear distinction in gameplay styles, Because they all feel the same to me. 1: armour and weapon. - Massive difference between Light and heavy armour. - Damage threshold (like in Fallout new vegas) rather than what we have now. - Dodge chance increase to lighter armours and clothes. Realistic Penalties to heavy armours. Plus- Swords get very little armour peircing but are harder to dodge. Maces are the opposite and axes are somewhere imbetween. This Would cause equal thoughts on "what weapon am i to use" . Swords would be best on mages whilst maces on heavily armoured knights. A similar idea for ranged weapons i have. These changes would cause a massive separation between Being lightly armoured and being heavily armoured. 2: provide multiple ways to get past an object. Lockpicking for instance is a load of s***. No matter what character you play, this skill levels up and has no use. Players should be able to break locks and Use spells to open them. Furthermore- Lockpicking should have different qualities of picks, More skill importance (Unlocking an adept chest at level 15 ahould be as hard as it is to open a masterchest Now) And more things to do with it (Disarm traps, Make traps etc) 3: more penalties for being crap at something, More benefits for being good. 4: More items Secondly- Birthsign choice. Class Choice. Maybe even fallout style attributes. Class should Be chosen at the start of a game. In the long term it shouldn't effect the player. But at the start ist should provide some penalties and bonuses. No custom classes and the classes of previous tes games should be used to set your starting skills. Some skills the player might have at 5 whilst others at maybe 30. Attributes- Set them By race for npcs. Don't level them Up. Use perks and enchantments to increase them. Traits like fallout might be a good idea too. Lastly Increase The joys of Non rpg ellements - Sideways rolls/dives/jumps by sprinting and jumping/ducking in any direction. - add new ranged weapons that aren't bows. - Increase the attack types for npcs. Allow charge attacks, Kicks, Charged blasts of magic that they can't aim after beginning, Jumping strikes, Jumping backwards dodges, weapon swings that you can duck under or jump over or sidestep. Well, i would be here all day if i described everything in detail. But the point is to MAKE SKYRIM AN RPG.
  3. Yes, To be honest i think that since oblivion the elder scrolls is becoming "to western". I liked Morrowind's designs on orcish, daedric and glass armour (and dwemer structures) Much more than any subsequent design... Oriental weapons and armour are good :) .
  4. Ok, I have begun this. My problem is that i only have experience with texturing and the cs... Modeling scares the crap out of me. What i have done so far: Made Ebony, steel and iron versions of iron, steel and nordic hero weapons. I have experimented with Red (like the tribunal royal guard armor) and elven metal and i am going to make silver/addamantium , Orichalum and bronze versions. I want to do the same for armours, although this is more difficult with the amount of detail in the textures. i have made Ebony jewelry. (which should use the same gems as the silver ring) Anyway- What i need models For.. (Some kind of basic texture for me to work on would be good too... Make metal a steel colour and preferably possition the texture on the model so that it's easy to do many reskins. ) vanilla armour modifications- Minus pauldrons/arms or with different pauldrons and With occasional extra bits. - New armour STYLES that have been in past games (like Bloodmoon/morrowind's various nordic armours) and fit in skyrim ( a lot of dumner stuff would fit in skyrim, seeing as how there are many refugees.some redguard//orc/imperial armours/weapons would do well too) New mage robes and clothes New staffs Extra weapons that look practical. Jewelry. Armours and weapons and robes which Would just "fit" in with the world. Nothing over the top and unwearable (huge pauldrons and no body piece comes to mind) http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Concept_Art http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Concept_Art
  5. I though this would be simple- It realy isn't! I am trying to get Draugr helmets to play (there are 3 of them, 5 if you count male/female differences) My problem is that The Helmet Either replaces the head, or doesn't appear and takes off the hair (this method also takes it from draugr) I think it has something to do with armour addons. I am not doing something different from other helmets. I can't seem to find out what i am doing wrong. Or how to get it right. http://steamcommunity.com/id/InnocentFlower/screenshot/488878704755625561?tab=public http://steamcommunity.com/id/InnocentFlower/screenshot/488878704755622387/?tab=public (and on another note- Whats the best way to get an armour coloured like this http://images.uesp.net/8/8a/TR_Armor_RoyalGuardM.jpg and what colour is it actualy? because it's hard to get
  6. Anyways... Any pallet type Mods seem to make my Loading screen time longer than my game time and some have some fps impact. So... Volumetric shadows or at least Sun beams (on a benchmark that i tried, this had very little fps impact) SSAO (which has only a very small ammount of fps impact) A little colour correction or contrast adder maybe Infact- Some kind of user customizable Effects would be great
  7. Im the creator of http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9185 For some reason, Adding grass (and stones, stones are grass too) to two surfaces (fall forest rocks and fallforest NoGrass) Causes some fps drop and stability issues. Why? (and which surface is likely to be the problem) (this isn't in the current file btw, it's an unreleased extra)
  8. You wouldn't be able to wear armour
  9. Are you going to make older styles too? Like When the shoulder armour was literally a large leather plate?
  10. Ugly as... Nvm.. (blue harpies) Try something of meridia's.. .Just make a name up for the valkrie and tell the person it;s from the "coloured rooms". Lore friendlyness in itself :) Meridia's statue was of A cloaked woman with angel wings.. her quest involved killing "shades" and a necromancer. She Hates unatural things... Her "auriels" were seen in the nights of nine and they wore gold armour... So there's probably no problem with Making Some kind of hybrid and making up a name for it without breaking the lore. It doesn't even have to be a complicated word. Sheogorath's daedra are called "Golden saints"
  11. A few people have had that bug. Could you Share your findings?
  12. Right!! Firstly We Need A very skimpy Anime Armour with Impossibly Huge boobs. Boobs So big that they make Calentine's Silly huge boobs look like A-cups. To go with this we need some kind Of power ranger animation Then we need a motorbike. This motorbike needs to be fullbright Then, Super Anime faces, A Skiny, gender confused boy with a sword the size of a dragon. He needs to ride on a pink Sabercat. In the Background we need something like the Disneyland Castle . Also We need a tentacle monster somewhere
  13. Is this to Be tes lore Accurate or not??!?!?! You could do Something like this With Daedra seducers and winged twilights...
  14. Ugh.. The orcish armour pic doesn't work, does it? But anyway- It would Be quite Cool to Smith them with Tes Materials (Pale gold, Black , That orcish Green, Steel, with Glass Adornments... )
  15. You know... You Can Probably Make this More lore friendly. First off- You can try some samurai orcish- This is what oricsh looked like in Morrowind... Morrowind did it right!! Morrowind Also Had some more asian looking... Glass, Daedric and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW_Armor_OrcishM.jpg http://images.uesp.net/thumb/a/a2/MW_GlassArmor.jpg/450px-MW_GlassArmor.jpg http://images.uesp.net/thumb/7/79/MW_DaedricArmor.jpg/395px-MW_DaedricArmor.jpg Then you have this pic. "typical altmer male" http://images.uesp.net/6/6d/Lore-race-Altmer.png
