  1. Yeah who cares if this flops and the investors and marketing men convince bethesda not to do another first person fantasy game based on its name alone. For War Craft they evolved the series from top down rts to pan camera MMo, The Elder scrolls seems to be taking a huge leap in the wrong direction for no apparent reson. But I like most don't really care but Tes on-line should have been a first person game, then the people who were actualy interested in the fundamental selling point of this series might consider buying it. I'm guessing this isn't the result of extensive market research... Is gameing being dumbed down? or are we?
  2. I would just like to say that people defending or justifying what corporations do to make money are contemptible, and attacking people for their dislike of something is moronic especitally when it's rational. This wasn't a game that was made for desktop pc's it's just avalible on one. I remeber feeling disapointed when running this on ultra and seeing how unattractive everything was from the textures to the shadows and lighting. I remember thinking the sword play is no where near as imersive as Oblivions, and the world just seemed too empty as far as non hostiles goes. And mod'ed my game as soon as it accured to me to do so. And stopped playing soon after... Started playing again a month ago and it would be hard not to feel let down, expecially after seeing what they can do in a week when just screwin around. But my game looks good and if I could optimise my ini's to sustain more than 30 fps at all times I would be slightly greatful to Bethsoft, but if it wasn't for the modders the game would just be a joke in a box for pc owners... And I don't think any of us poor little consumers asked for steam and it's "conveniences", we just put up with it.
  3. You could try using the role back option in controle panel under system and security, its the last option in the action centre part if you're using win7.
  4. Is anyone else getting an odd magical wooshing every second after mounting their horse? It's the only thing putting me off, but I suspect it might just be me since no-one else seems to have mentioned it and in the videos I've seen don't seem to suffer from it... Any input would be appriciated... And it being a little more refined woulden't be a bad thing, very hard not to hit your dog when it's engageing the fellow you're trying to thwack..
  5. Used a few of your skyrim.ini tweeks and just wanted to say thanks. Improved my graphix and seemed to make it play better. Was looking at lod improvment mods and thought I'd check out the forums and stumbled over this. It was working so well down from High Hathor that a bumped my shadows up to ultra, but alas at the bottom of the decent the lag poked its ugly head. Musing over "HiAlgoBoost FPS Performance Accelerator " atm, it makes some big claims... Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz 16 GB  AMD Radion HD 6800 S 1024MB Win7 x64
