  1. Hi all, I am no newbie to modding but this has me scratching my head. I have chosen to go UUNP female body - Bathsheba on my latest install. Have installed all the requirements, FNIS, XPMSSE, HDT Physics, Bodyslide, even googled a few configs. Unfortunately when I take my character's clothing off with physics/special body active, her breasts droop down towards her navel level. Not pretty. And the degree of bounce is just silly exaggerated. If I use the non physics body, she is fine. Is there anybody there who has physics playing nice with Bathsheba? If so, would you be willing to share your advice and your configs? Many thanks in advance good people!
  2. Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar, many thanks. Removing and restarting the json finally did it! Am glad, as Vortex in many ways is much superior to NMM, not least it can handle big files!
  3. Moved over to Vortex yesterday and it seemed fine. Tonight it is refusing to deploy mods whether large or small. The error I got with the last one is as follows;- Error: Unexpected token in JSON at position 0.*** When you report this, please include the file "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\vortex.deployment.json" *** at fs.readFileAsync.then.catch.err (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:1277:208) at tryCatcher (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:512:31) at Promise._settlePromise (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:569:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:614:10) at Promise._settlePromises (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:689:18) at Async._drainQueue (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:133:16) at Async._drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:143:10) at Async.drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules I can't attached the file - I am apparently not permitted to upload that type of file. Meanwhile Wrye Bash seems quite happy to activate plugins when I install manually. Very disappointed as I am trying a new install of SSE and Vortex is doing it's best to stop me!
  4. Not necessarily. Some of the "quilted" papers are rougher on the back side, which is to say what faces inside toward the roll, than the front. Perhaps this is the result of a toilet paper designer's negative experiences on post-taco mornings. In any event, on a horizontal roll, over places the front side up, in your palm, while under usually has you grabbing with the rough side out. On a vertical roll, you just have to be careful you don't inadvertently sand anything down. Lol well said. I do favour the quilted type, so must bear in mind your advice!
  5. Neither way. My loo roll holder is one of those spikes that stands on the floor so that I can reach it from my disabled toilet seat. So roll orientation doesn't really apply.
  6. Good afternoon my friends, I am hoping that you are able to advise me. I have tried to port both my own and HN66's Litheria mod, and the wonderful Ningheim race (this latter for my personal use only) without success. I have SKSE, Race Compatibility, the 64 bit CK and the SSE Nif Optimiser, LOOT, Wrye Bash, SSE Edit, you name it. I do all the necessary steps to optimise, or replace, the meshes and save the esp in the 64 bit CK. Yet when I get to Chargen and try to select the race, it crashes the game. This doesn't happen with race mods ported from Oldrim by other modders - I can use Noiral, Aasimar, Dagi Raht, Yami Neko for example. So I would be very grateful if someone could post a step by step guide? Is there something I am missing, such as needing to perhaps remove Oldrim masters and resave with SSE esms as masters? Help will be gratefully received and acknowledged!
  7. Yes, there has been another game update. What a shambles. Back to TW3 and Skyrim...and now Divinity, Original Sin 2 is out in beta and Dishonored 2 coming soon, Fallout 4 has a lot of competition. Oh wait...guess who made Dishonored...be interested to see if that's patched as often.
  8. What particularly unpleasant and factually incorrect posts from Steve40 and Perraine. I am not an inexperienced mod user, having been using mods since Morrowind - in fact I make the odd mod myself - and nor am I crying. I use F4SE because it makes all kinds of improvements to the game possible. I have Skyrim and Witcher 3 for the periods where I have to wait for F4SE and associated mods to update. But the amount of updates upon updates within a few days of each other with this game have been unprecedented, many of which have naff all to do with PC players like me and everything to do with the pathetic attachment of console companies to achievements, or with Bethesda's equally ridiculous Bethesda.net. To be honest I have found FO4 the most stable Bethesda game to date so am a bit baffled by these supposed improvements, but then I did make sure to update my hardware to make sure it could cut it. Any problems I have had have been caused by the quirky AMD Drivers and the fact that the card in my new desktop build (R390X 8Gb) needs a monster PSU - now sorted - rather than the game itself. Rather than running around like headless chickens and letting out updates piecemeal, surely it would be better to work a little while longer and release bigger but better updates a la CDPR? These little and often updates just make Bethesda look disorganised.
  9. Me too, like cossayos I have the season pass but I am struggling to get excited about a game that I can play for about two days on average before Bethesda break F4SE. The F4SE team are doing a heroic job but I bet it drives them nuts to keep having to do it again.
  10. The annoying thing about Fallout 4 is that a number of the updates have had little to do with game improvements as such and everything to do with Bethesda.net and the flippin' console mods. No, Skyrim was not just as bad, I don't remember it having this many updates one after another. And heck some of those Skyrim bugs were funny...dragons flying backwards anyone? Now Fallout 4 has been pretty stable and I have just not been able to play for days on end - OK I can accept DLC patching but can't understand why they have to patch a couple of times for each update, rather than wait and get it right first time. Oh sorry, this is Bethesda lol...
  11. I don't remember any of them since Morrowind being patched as often as FO4 has been, it's one after another and most of the time has zero relevance to anyone playing on PC who doesn't use their rotten Bethesda.net for mods. I just got lemoned with another patch, my exe is now 1.7.10 so got to wait for F4SE and associated mods to be patched. It must drive the F4SE team nuts having to re-write so often. I will be patient...and go back to Witcher 3 and Skyrim...
  12. Check to see if you have any outdated F4SE dlls still hanging around, which is a possibility with a manual install. Also, make sure that you have F4SE 2.2 which came out hot on the heels of 2.1
  13. Yes it works for me too, although what I will say is that it always helps to remove outdated F4SE plugins too.
  14. Really? My laptop runs it on Ultra (HD8970M with 4GB VRAM, Core i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD). Some laptops have whopping graphics. However, my beastly desktop locks up and as we speak is being collected by my system as my thirsty GPU needs a bigger PSU. Kind of blows your laptops can't run FO4 theory out of the water.
