In response to post #68775056. #68792066 is also a reply to the same post. Not quite. Some things do not need conversion (i.e. scripts, textures, audio, etc.) and work out of the box but things like esps, bsas, certain meshes, and animations definitely need to be converted for SSE in order to work due to the new 64bit architecture. Here's some info on that topic in case you're interested: post by Arthmoor on the topic Reddit page on the topic Peeking at "Iomaungandr Rising," it seems that the work to convert to SE is actually pretty minimal. The major things that need to be done will be to resave the esp in the SE CK, to repack the bsa for SE, and (probably) run the new meshes in your mod through the SE Nif Optimizer. Pretty easy to do and in theory, most users could probably do it themselves if they wanted to. Some users though may want an "official" conversion to SE. If you're too busy to do that, you could give permission for someone else to do it for you or just let users do it themselves. Either way, it's your mod and your call on that. -

LE Help with a strange mesh problem
JZBai replied to JZBai's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Not sure if this will help anyone solve my problem, but here is a File Dropper link to what I have now: http://www.filedropper.com/jzbaigenericchainmail The armor can be found in game under "Chainmail Armor" in the console and is currently female-only. -
I've been working on a new armor mod, but I've ran into a strange mesh problem that I can't figure out for the life of me. My mesh was skinned in 3DSMax and it looked fine in there. However, when I export the nif and see the model in game there are these strange black shapes that seem to bleed out of the mesh when I zoom out. In the shadow of my character, it looks like there are vertices that are exploding out of the mesh and are following the camera around. In addition, my mesh's textures seem to be bleed through anything that would normally cover the mesh (cloaks, backpacks, sleeves, etc.) Everything else about the mesh however looks fine (weight sliders work as they should, textures look good, etc.). Any ideas on what may be causing this problem?
