  1. So... sorry that I can't actually help. I thought I would have more time, but alas, I was wrong. Anyway, I saw Topvman's mod before and unless you guys tweak his meshes before, you won't be able to use them properly. I suppose you are all familiar with oblivion? That the upperbody and the lowerbody were separeted meshes? Well, he tried to make the same thing with skyrim. If you check it out with NifSkope you'll see that the greaves and the torso are separeted meshes too. I think he did that to prevent clipping, but that may cripple others armor mods since skyrim only uses a unique body mesh and not separeted ones. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why the invisible legs and torsos. Now, instead of seperated body meshes like Topvman's mod, the way I see to make this mod of yours work and still be compatible with the others armor mods is to remove the greaves of the body mesh and leave the cuirass there with naked legs.check out this mod here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31813 The cuirass is the main armor. if you use only the cuirass you char will be wearing nothing in the legs. the pants, pauldrons and the all that stuff are actually addons to the armor. Topvman's mod is salvageable. It can really help with this mod, but you'll need a modeller because the way it is now, it won't work. Sorry If I made this sound a little complicated, but I don't really know how to explain this in other way. Maybe with some pictures... I can't make any promisses though. EDIT: Oh. ENB will do nothing against to this mod. they only add lighting effects and eyecandy stuff. I'm not exactly sure why you asked that in my mod's page... And I'll have you know Mopel that ENB is awesome and you know nothing! haha but seriously. There are many of them. You can't really say they break the immersion. Plus, you guys better use one to make the pictures. Presentation is important, I guess.
  2. my silly looking mod doesn't use a different slot. these greaves are actually boots (like the falmer boots). It was a request that some people asked for me to do it. At first I wanted to upload as only modders resources, but because of the requests of some people I decided to add the feet meshes. you can however, delete the feet meshes and make the greaves to equip in a different slot (there are many to choose, so that's not a huge problem). btw, I'm not exactly busy tonight so I can show some preview pictures of what I think you guys could do. I try to upload them later.
  3. well, i didn't want to sound like this was an impossible idea for a mod or that it's already a failure. splitting the meshes is easy (boring, but relatively easy), but adjusting then to look good with the armors won't be that simple. I just said that because some comments gave the idea that we only need to cut the meshes, but it certainly won't be as easy as that. I do think that clipping will be a big issue. We're talking about many different pieces to combine. There will be many good combinations, but many others will just clip too much. I know I'm being a little pessimistic here, but aside from the mods that I released, I also made a few armors for personal use and trying to find a good combination with pauldrons, torso, leg armor and all that is not that simple. don't take my word for granted though. maybe some more experienced modders may not have the same problem that I had, but well, at least in my opinion, working with the CK and the basic mesh cutting is the least of the problems right now. anyway, good luck with the mod. like I said before, I don't know if I'll be able to help, but if I find any spare time I'll try to contribute with some meshes or something like that.
  4. So... I'm here mostly because of the request that Mopel had for me. I still not sure if I'll be able to help or if my mod for that matter is actually of any help, but there's something that worries me in this mod. I really like the idea, but first, cutting the meshes is only a small part of the job. There will be severe clipping issues if the modeller doesn't make some adjusts. plus, we have 4 bodies to take into consideration: the male body, the vanilla female body and UNP and CBBE (well, they're the most popular, I guess). while this all sounds pretty cool, the pauldrons will be a huge pain in the a** to make. The torso of many armors will probably clip with some pauldrons. While we can adjust to look good in some armors, in many others they will clip or float in the characters shoulders. the torso and the greaves is also a problem. combinations of both of them with different armors will be problematic for the same reason. so, I really like the idea, but I guess that you guys will have some problems. It will be a cool mod, but many combinations will just not look good and there's a hell of a job ahead. I don't think that the boredom of spliting the armors will be that much of an issue based on what I have said.
  5. Sorry if this already exist, but I tried to find with no luck. I think a lot of you already noticed that female characters stay with their mouths shut when shouting while the males dudes... well, they actually shout. with a cool intimidating face I might add. We can even check this in the CK. I tried to do the animation myself, but had no luck. Its probably very simple, though. I think I just lack the skill now. Can someone do it? If not, is there any easy way to merge the angry combat expression with the "big ah" expression? I know this is something trivial. "just don't look to the lady's face!" some would probably say (with some reason, I guess), but this little, minor detail bothers me.
  6. dude... you're my new savior. thank you very much, man. I knew it was something simples as this! I guess I have to pay more attention now.
  7. sorry for the bumb, but I still can't see what I'm doing wrong.
  8. hey guys, I'm quite the noob with blender, but I did some stuff that actually worked. this however is driving me nuts. so what I want to do is an upperbody or a lowerbody chainmain. the problem is, the upperbody part just keep floating and doesn't move. I have some pictures to show. step by step: -here is the armor in blender (I picked any armor just to show the problem): http://i.imgur.com/a5phE.png -the selected mesh is the upperbody that I am talking about (I scaled only a little bit to prevent clipping): http://i.imgur.com/vRqIS.png -the skeleton and the weight were applied here: http://i.imgur.com/QK40d.png -the export settings: http://i.imgur.com/04j4q.png -the armor on nifskope with stuff like textures, dismember and all that applied: http://i.imgur.com/lkk9S.png -end result: http://i.imgur.com/ptX6q.jpg (look... she's even sad) I used this tutorial: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1 (I used the "duplicate body part" tip to make the chainmail in the pictures) I can't see what I'm doing wrong. I tried to separete the meshes, used different ways to apply the weight (I have yet to try "painting the weight", but this sounds a little too hard for me right now), used different skeletons, heck I have even used the UNP body of this armor: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12070 (the upperbody is a separeted mesh), but nothing seems to work. all my attempts end with this piece floating. do you guys have any ideia of what I'm doing wrong? I want to try using the 3d max, but I have zero experience with that program so I would like to stick with blender for now if possible.
  9. I'm pretty newbie in modding, but I'm sorry to say, this not a bug. it's just as the armor looks in game. XCE and Coverwoman have nothing to do with that. they are texture mods. this is a mesh problem. I guess you could try to use the nifskope and maybe edit the positions (I'm pretty sure the shoulders and the rest of the armor are the same mesh though. you would probably need blender or 3dmax to do that.)... cloaks of skyrim? pretty much the same. it's hard to make this stuff without some clipping. I guess that's why some modders chose to make some pieces of the outfit somewhat separated from the body.
  10. i'd like to see isaac's and rogue champion armor. they are very cool. and the sandals of the mystic (is that the name?) would look good in the elves, I think.
