  1. So..i'm sure i'm not the only one who noticed the trouble with Skyrim after the latest AMD driver. Problem was flickering textures, fog especially (more noticeably if you start a new game, the fog around Alduin was purple), flickering everywhere basically.I suspect because the lates drivers was optimized for DAi and for some reason it messed Skyrim up. My question is, is there a workaround available other than to rollback the driver? for some reason my PC crashed when i rolled the driver back to it's previous version.
  2. When i first start the game, it'll be around 10 seconds. During the game, 3-5 seconds mostly. Sometimes it's even less.
  3. I think you've got too many combat related mods. Might be a mod conflict issue. Try de activating them one by one
  4. I'm having the same problem as you lately. It's those texture mods, combine with scripts heavy mods. The stutters last for only 1-2 seconds , right? before it stabilizes again. 220 mods is a lot. Maybe try to scale it down..especially the texture mods
  5. Lately my game has been suffering from stuttering/FPS drops. Checked My GPU , and it's not overheating.Temp is 66 after about 3 hours. (ATI5800 series). No unusaul spike in mem either according to CCC Used the same mods from before this happens..more or less. The stuttering/FPS drops only happens when my character turns 180, FPS drops for about 2-3 seconds before returning to normal (60). It sometimes happen when my character looking forward to, but rarely. Only happens outdoor. Now, after some online searching, it's became apparent that a lot of people suddenly experiencing FPS drops/stutter lately. Imucho gracias in advance
  6. ^^ Oh ok...thanks again for the reply!
  7. ^^Thanks for the reply, i'm starting to get worried because i've never have this issue before. It started soon after i installed an ENB mod, beside that, i've also use a couple of high res mods...never had problem before. My Skyrim runs on high setting instead of ultra. So, my old graphic card is doing fone until it gets about 80? the highest temp i've ever got was 68 after a 4 hours or so Skyrim session. So if it's ever get to 80...should i be start thinking of buying a new one? i know it's old, but it's still working...
  8. I'm also starting to have this issue. ATI HD5800 series Temp after playing Skyrim for about 3 hours.. around 66 degrees...when idle, around 45. Like the OP, it's the fan noise that's bothering me, and the GPU spike...
  9. Ok I will try gamebooster, is it freeware? And the name superherohype doesnt mean anything to me lol sounds like something I would be interested in though. Why do you ask? Does it somehow relate to my username? Game booster is a freeware. When you start the program, run the diagnostic and it will tell you what programs are running in the background and which are not essentials and safe to stop when you're playing a game. It's noob friendly. That's why i suggested it. I sometimes also gets stuttering when playing Skyrim , and usually it's because i forgot that that my PC is running backup or there's some scanning in the background. And yeah LOL...it's your username. Wilhelmscream.Superherohype is the ultimate nerd/geek forum and there was once a pretty well known user using the name Wilhelmscream there. Let us know if gameboster works out for you. It's also might be helpfull if you post your mod list. Your problem can also be caused by a mod.It can be mod conflict, and it can also be that you once used a scripts heavy mod and you did not un-installed it right, which leaves it's script running in the background and causing all sorts of problem. All bethesda games, while mods friendly, can sometimes be fickle when it comes to mods. Good luck!
  10. Hmm.. it could be caused by some programs running in the background. Try disabling your anti virus and your firewall when playing. You can try gamebooster.Use it to disable all non essential programs when playing. Oh and does the name superherohype means anything to you? 8)
  11. Èdit: NVM. seems to be a mod conflict of somekind. Deactivated a couple of mods, and now it's working again.
  12. Disable anti aliasing in your Skyrim launcher. It'll go away. I've had this awhile ago too
  13. Ok..after playing with a new character for about 3 hours, and just starting the thieves guild quests, i have noticed a strange bug/glitch ALL my weapons now have 0 damage! And to clarify...i havo NO disease ( i've gone to shrine anyway). Got NO spells equipped on either hand...DO NOt have any weapons/spells damages altering mod of any kind. Got NO enchanted items that alters weapons damages... As far as i can tell, they still inflicted proper damages, it just the stats shows 0 damage for ALL of the weapons. It's annoying and i'm wondering if anyone has ever encountered this. Google answers only came up with spells and diseases solutions Oh and i've got Dawnguard installed if that makes any difference.
