  1. I was really wanting to give SimSettlements a try, partly why I wanted to do fresh install. That, and load times were annoyingly long. Getting FO4 off my HDD and onto a SSD should improve load times and gameplay, etc. I also made sure to add "[Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=" to my custom ini file.
  2. Hey Nexus Community. First off, I've been using Nexus since TES:IV Oblivion and Fallout 3 and I wanted to thank all of you that support this community whether its by creating mods or using mods. I've created this thread to try to get some help with my CTD issue. Seems like I have something wrong in my load order or something. I have reinstalled the game completely (uninstalled, deleted game folder, and reinstalled on a different drive), deleted and re-downloaded all my mods to a new folder location on the same drive as my game. I also deleted my old game saves and started a new playthrough.I have used Vortex for all my installations with the exception of F4SE, which I installed manually. I used NMM in the past and didn't seem to have any issues with my old modded playthrough. Problem I am having is the game crashes after a only a few minutes game play. If I go idle, it doesn't crash, it only does when I begin to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been working on this for a few days now and still can't get it stable. 3. I recently went back to playing Fallout 4 and updated my mods and all of that. FO4 was installed in my old Steam library (D:/), so I moved it to another Steam library (G:/) on a different drive (HDD to SSD drive). Then I moved my Vortex folder to the same drive (D:/ to G:/) by copying the file and manually moving it to the new drive. I then changed the settings for Vortex to look at the new folder (G:/Vortex Mods/Fallout4), however now I get an external changes error and prompted to either save or revert. I am confused. Saving deletes the file and reverting restores them? What do I need to do here? (looks like my old files are now gone from D:/, so would saving be correct as I do not want to save the copies) Thanks
  4. Same issue here too. My currentl work around is to click to DL the mod with NMM, then after the firefox error I copy the link in address bar and paste it to the DL from URL tab in NMM. No issues with doing it this way, just an inconveince at this time. Hope this gets addresed soon.
  5. Awesome! I'll give it a try. I did have NMM freeze during an install...maybe that was it.
  6. Thanks Shoestring, I hope that I can get this fixed. It is kinda cool sometimes, but when it keeps quest givers from interacting with the game, then the fun time is over.
  7. OK, just tried it again and now it's only affecting the males...arms are flailing in the air, levitation, no walk animation, and NPCs being half way into floor... females are normal...this is just weird.
  8. Yeah, I seen a lot of weird issues that seem to arisen from the latest patch, so I was thinking that could be the culprit. Now to figure out how to roll back. and FYI... I don't have that mod installed.
  9. I haven't played Skyrim in about 2 months and decided to play a little tonight and I now have an issue with NPCs/Followers doing crazy stuff. It so far appears to only be affecting female NPCs. They now levitate, clap/applaud, roll there heads around their shoulders, stand with an arrow drawn but with no bow equipped, and they drag themselves around while contorting their bodies in a strange way. Has anyone seen this? I updated SKSE, and I updated Apachii Hair. I DL'd a couple new mods, but it uninstalled them and still had the same issues. Uninstalling Apachii Hair caused a CTD... I'll look into this further tomorrow, but I just thought I would come here and see if anyone knows of an easy fix. Thanks...
  10. Yes, thank you very much for your reply. I had ercieved some bad info telling me that I didn't have to create the AA ID's. After much heartache trying to get the mod to work, I created them anyways and everything worked. But thanks for the info, maybe someone else will see this that is having similar problems.
  11. actually, I'm still getting random freezing. Must be something else. had not issues until last update to NMM. Could just be a load order issue for me.
  12. I had trouble too, Running a HD4890. I was running Jasmin ENB without any issues. tried out the one you've mention and kept getting a lot of freezing, especially after loading into another cell.
  13. I'm having issues with my plugin and getting my mod to show up in game. Although, it shows up right in the inventory/smithing menu, but not on my character. what I have done so far: - Imported all the textures and meshes with FOMM - edited the textures and created the new .dds files with PS - dropped all the files into the appropriate data folders - imported all the meshes into nifskope and redirected each mesh's texture to the new .dds files - created a new plugin - created new ID's for each piece of armor - redirected the world models to the new .nif - created new Recipe and Temper ID's How does the plugin files know to look at the new textures instead of the default? Do I need to create new xxxxxxAA ID's ? I know with weapons you can change what texture the item uses under art and sound tab, but nothing like that exists for armor other than the AA. Do my armor ID's have to exactly match the .dds and .nif file names? maybe that's where I've screwed up. Sorry if this is more confusing than helpful with helping me figure out my problem, but I'm explaining it the best that I can considering my limited knowledge on the subject. Thanks, any help is appreciated.
  14. Thank you! Now my textures are showing up like. :) Thanks for the Ck wiki link, I wasn't even thinking, should have just went there first. Thanks for the reminder.
