  1. I was kinda worried about a vampire cash in myself. I've been pleasantly surprised. I picked the vampire side for my first run... and to be honest, I hardly use the vampire powers. However, I'm still really enjoying the quest line. The dungeons are well made, it was nice to see some new enemy types, and I really like a certain place you get to visit. I do plan on playing the other side after this and I'm sure it'll be a blast. Edit: I run close to 50 mods. I have not had any conflicts so far.
  2. They did it for Fallout. I don't think they did it for anything else,
  3. They said xbox was getting it first a long time ago. As in a few months before the game even came out.
  4. There's a lot of unanswered questions like this in the lore... such as what happen if Race A and Race B has a kid together, or even if that's possible, etc. If I were to take a guess on if Argonians hatch from eggs or not, I would go with eggs, because that's what most reptiles/amphibians do. That wiki page I linked you refers to the young as hatchlings, but I don't think it's really verified. As for sound, I would generally like them to have the accent, because I think they're just going sound odd without it. There's a lot of great voice actors around, I'm sure you could find somebody. If you're going to implement a Hist tree somewhere, and you want this mod to be lore-friendly, you're going to have to make up a pretty fantastic story of how it got there. I'm pretty sure Hist trees only grow in the Black Marsh, and if you find one outside the marsh it would have had to been transported there (Like in that Fighters Guild quest in Oblivion.) I also think I ready somewhere that the Hist effect Argonian young physically as well as mentally, so it might be hard to be born away from one. All that said... if you think you can make this mod, go for it :) It would be nice to see some beast kids running around... or at least mer kids.
  5. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Argonian That's about the best lore you'll find on the net.
  6. "Ah, I so do love Riften, I visited it in my youth and a thief stole from me, he took my purse and I took his eyes. It was a fair exchange." Lucien Lachance
  7. Thanks for the advice. Any specific one that you recommend? Most of them seem sparsely filled out.
  8. Hi, I've been busy trying to fill out dialogue on my mod but I'm confused about what some of the topics are suppose to be. The Creation Kit wiki doesn't seem to get into it yet... does anyone know of a guide? Just to be clear, the topics I am talking about are, for example, in Quests under the Combat tap.... Attack, PowerAttack, GroupStrategy, AssaultNC... some of them are obvious but others I don't really have a clue what it's suppose to cover. Like AssaultNC... what's the difference between that and just the regular Assault topic?
  9. It's usually bad business for an assassin to kill his/her employer. Yet I did it anyways, cause I really didn't like the guy.
  10. Sounds very different to me. Also, how old is that Enya song? The youtube video doesn't even say which one it is.
  11. Aha! The one merchant I've seen killed (Can't remember who) must not have had a relative then. I'm glad that feature did get it. So... I wonder if I mod in more family members that it'll just pass around...
  12. Anyone remember when Bethesda was talking about the radiant story, and how that if a merchant died one of his relatives would take up the shop? I wonder what ever happen to that.
  13. That's what it seems to me too, but I only had the one save file as far as I know. It's not in my recycle bin... any other ideas?
  14. Hi, Today, I loaded up my mod that I've been working on for quite some time and found that pretty much all the data was lost. I lost a huge dungeon, quest information, and a character. In fact, there only thing left to the mod was just one actor. I had to uninstall Skyrim the other day because of a problem with a mod I downloaded. I saved my mod in a folder outside of Steam before I did, so after I reinstalled it I just put it back in Skyrim's data folder. Did I miss a step? Is there anyway I recover my data?
  15. Not true. XBL is free. True you can pay for a XBL and get improved service for a given value of improved, but to say that xbox users should get something early because they pay for their online service is both bogus and stupid. In anycase mods > dlc. Yes, Silver is free, and allows people access to the Xbox Market to buy DLC. However, you can't play online with a Silver Membership, you need to -pay- for the Gold Membership for that. That's what most people are going to do because they want to play games like Call of Duty with their friends. I work in entertainment sales and one of the selling points (Which is supplied to us by Microsoft) were suppose to give out to potential customers is that xbox360 gets early content such as DLC. It's really easy to connect the dots from there... Microsoft is paying game companies for early stuff and using the Gold membership fee to cover it. It's not stupid or bogus, it's just how it is. I'm not saying they -should- get it early just because they pay for it, I don't think they should get it early at all. I agree with you that mods are better than DLC. I actually discovered the Elder Scrolls series with the Oblivion game of the year edition on the PS3. I found out about the mods from a couple of friends and was absolutely amazed. It got me back into computer gaming and I'd never go back. My PS3 has been broken since this past summer and I haven't even thought much about it! But my point is that would early DLC for xbox ever get me to go and get one? Not at all, and I think that's true for most of us PC gamers. But that might be a different story for a PS3 user.
