hi all who would read this, so today I woke up nice and early and had nothing to do, so I decided to skyrim a little. Did the mages quild quest up til entering the college and killing ancano but tolfir is bugged, he just hides near the entrance and doesnt shoot firebolts or say the dialogue "use the staff of magus" I tried everything, ( resetai, killing him, reload, run back out and in ) nothing works and I checked out skyrim wikia no good info there either. is there a code where I can maunally enter the script thing? or fix tolfir at least? I'm pretty sure this problem of mine is quite unique as I have not seen it yet. please I hope this community is helpful enough.

funny, you guys seem to have the same problem as I do. for some reason skald won't make me a thane even after completing every single quest the pale has to offer. and I mean it. the falkreath house I can buy, but if I go anywhere near it or pinewatch, I get a CTD. must be something got edited in that area since I had to use a console command to get in pinewatch to do a thief guild quest. the olny housestead that seemed to work for me was morthal's. and for those who are having problems with breezehome - are you using the Dovakiin hideout by shanks? hearthfire just screwed breezehome up right so... I'm guessing thats why you guys are having crashes. I know cus im in the same shoes as you guys. ever since getting hearthfire its been downright annoying. 3 new houses and I can only build and use one. the one in falkreath causes ctd. the one in the pale i cant even get since skald lost his thane dialog thing. I hope our dear talented and wonderful modders will figure out a way to fix Bethesda's errors ( again ) .

lol when I first got dawnguard that crossbow thing was one my first biggest problems. got skyrim since the day it came out and never had any problems til dawnguard. now as a vamp lord I can't even feed on anyone. well keep trying to validate your files, my files fixed itselves soon enough no idea how or why

Today, I finally got the time to play the DG MQ as a vamp lord til the part where serana and I sneak into the old part of the castle. ( I chose the vamp lord side since already did the DG side no problems) didn't encounter no problems, lucky I didn't come across some of the bugs and glitches others were moaning about, such as the soul cairn crash thingie. anyway, I completed the soul cairn quest without any incident, except 1) when I first stepped forward I couldnt directly enter, even though I was a vamp lord. musta been the custom race thing not seeing me as a proper undead. so I let serana bite me again. 2) after leaving the soul cairn my character's body continues to burn with that soda sizzling aura thing. as if I'm still in the bloody soul cairn doesnt matter where I go. and if I step into the cairn again the effect doubles multipies, 4x 5x 6x 100x you name it. would look kinda cool if it was blood red and does no dmg at all, but it does and it's not, and it fogs my character up so I cant take screenies, and to top it off that constant sizzling sound is bugging me. was wondering did anyone encounter this as well. a really odd bug, and perhaps one of its kind. since as everyone knows, different PCs can generate different situations. hope someone out there reads and has a ingenious cure for it. :((((((((((((

oh my zhenle, you have the same problem as I do. I cant enthrall him at all. cast seduction on him and then he's kneeling, there's no option to feed, and after a while he gets up. there is only a pickpocket menu this whole time.

think they the devs must have left something out, other than the wait here/follow me option, and the trade option, she doesnt have anything else that makes her act like a follower. even the UFO mod cant affect her.

I have the same probnlem.. I think.. I can't feed at all, if by feed you meant the power bite. sigh..

lol I once had this problem ages ago, when I got dawnguard I realized only vampires were affected, and me myself, if I used a crossbow. now for some reason it's fixed itself. I posted a pic of myself and that dude in fort DG too, agoes ago. I wasn't using any custom anims mods, nor do I use them now. patience I guess

lol umm just get this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21631# and then stay as vamp lord if you need to talk to anyone in the castle. works for me, even before I realised such a problem existed. I only got the mod cus I found it annoying I had to revert back everytime to loot something

lol umm actually you could get the mod that allows you to speak and activate stuff as a vampire lord. I understand your problem, while in the castle everyone just shoos me off unless I turn into a lord, and with this mod I had no problems communicating with them.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21631#

lol help me, how do you feed with vamp seduction?? I am at the part where I need to bite dexon to enthrall him, it's been a real life week inside that bloody cave and no one in this universe seems to have an answer

lol once dawnguard is installed, the vampire attacks will start. doesn't matter if you've started the quest line or not, vamps will still attack the towns. to get a headstart on the dg quest speak to durvak, the orc, or whatever his name is spelled. at lv10 the town guards will automatically give you the quest once the vamp hunter dialog comes up.
