  1. WOW, even this doesnt work. I guess this mod is broken.
  2. I'm reeeaaally confused here,..... you can't open a .dds in Nifskope.................or can you?
  3. ive put his id in the required box and submitted it several time, he wanted to upload a piece we need to finish our mod, but i cannot get permission for him, its my mod, i made it, i uploaded it, why wont it allow me to give him access?
  4. that didnt really sound like good news, steam workshop?a way to make you pay for mods somewhere down the line? there has to be a catch.
  5. dxt3 didnt work for me, but dxt5 did! now to find the base textures and the flame in hand textures, the green on orange does look cool tho, very nuclear, very fallout. and thaks agan, would you be interested in making this mod with me? the colors of magic mod? maybe even merge some green sparks with black flames once the construction set comes out. if not im still stoked with my green fire and i thank you again.
  6. still no green, i changed the color of the texture in int.net, saved it in its own folder and copied it and over wrote vanilla 1 in the data/textures/effects/gradients. the only change i noticed is when i cast fire wall, my wall has big black flame shaped it, hat did i do wrong, or rather, what did you do to make it work?
  7. so i should only edit gradflame 01, and in the mean time try to figure out how to change the base color? and thank you big time btw!! you kick ass!
  8. what about the flames spell? or other fire textures in the game?
  9. wall of fire for example, i could have sworn i tried gradients already. what else do you suggest
  10. im trying to change the color of fire spells cast by the player, i extracted the textures from the bsa, recolored every fire texture in the game to make sure i got the right 1, i ran the game with the texture folder and texture bsa both present, then i ran the game and no change occurred, i did the same with only the textures folder present and still no green fire showed the game, just plane looking fire. if im using the original addresses and folder names shoudnt my green fire textures over write the vanilla 1's? and just to be sure, could someone please tell me the name of the correct textures i should recolor to get the effect of casting green fire spells? im lost, and i am by no means a n00b at modding. someone please help. thanks. this is going towards what i hope will be a mod everyone will enjoy.
  11. i thought it might be useful info, i couldnt extract the textures with the bsa unpack, but FOMM worked like a charm for me.
  12. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. where can i find the flame or fire textures for the spells? im using the bsa browser to look through the textures and ive tried looking in the animations bsa as well, please help!!
  14. I would like to know if its possible to change the color of the flames and fire you cast as well as the fire that burns your victims and the environment. also, i would like to merge spells, having black fire along with a bursting bolt of electricity would definitely be bad ass, and all of these could have various colors or change as they burn.
