  1. All my mods I published are free to use. No permission required from me.
  2. I live in central EU and for 6€ I can go to shop and buy only some bread and milk for 3, 4 days. With 50€ you can barely buy enough food for 4 members of family for 3 days tops. Not everyone is engineer and gets paid 1200€ per months, some have to live with unemployed parents, maybe one has job, earns crappy 600€ and has problems of getting to live. So don't think just 3rd world country has problems, EU has problems as well, maybe not as ginormous problems as somewhere else, but problems are there. Where I live you must be lucky to get paid over 700€ per month, or to have a job at all that is. Just for food goes half of your pay. Not to mention where other things come in like bills and other stuff that comes before internet and you viritual life. For now I am very happy that I can live in a house, eat every day and even get to use computer and as bonus internet on it. I did consider taking at least a month membership once, even if I would have no benefit from it at all. My download speed is capped at 500KBs and I don't upload many images. But I was and still am generally unsatisfied how things tingle around here so I decided not to. I do like mod authors and their work, but their users have become way different story than 2 years ago. With each month there is more and more idiots around here and less and less mod authors, that are leaving for other places where they might find more peace. I'm staying regular member that will download and endorse mod he likes.
  3. I have problem and I don't know who to contact about. I can access all Skyrim nexus mod pages, but notmain one. I get Firefox can't find the server at :2083 I checked router if I maybe by miracle blocked a port, but I didn't. I can access all other nexus main pages, just not Skyrim one.
  4. I will reply to both: Correct me if I am wrong, but Oblivion didn't had that big DOWNLOAD WITH MANAGER. Also most mods were found on that other site, planeteldersscrolls, at least I leached them from there, not nexus. And I think that trying to mod at that time was quite different from now when all you need to do is press that big gyanormus button if you are not into how the mod actually works. At start I did the same, had no idea I will ever mod and got into business quite some time after Skyrim got out. I played fully modded New vegas, but never even thought of actually making mods. Mod users that are not morons are either those who are quiet and press endorse button and of course those who read and knowledge what being said and then post an appropriate comment. There is a last group who helps mod authors with endless hordes of trolls. Honor and glory to the last ones. They should get special status beneath their name, and I mean this. I like to share my mods, but this is not a place where I want them to be. Not anymore...
  5. In response to post #7847001. Never pointed finger directly to nexus. My finger is pointing more on ppl that annoy mod authors. Nexus is just a pot where things are cooking, but not completely innocent in this matter. How to improve things? What I would suggest its so cruel to the point that your site would probably get rid of 50% of its population. You probably don't want that. Those who do not read and act dumb shouldn't have access to mods at all. If you are unable to use your brains, you shouldn't use your mod. If you can't install a mod with nexus mod manager, well either your english sucks so much or more probable that you should rather buy an xbox or ps and never bother using a computer again. Mods are not really something that someone with complete lack of skill to read should use. They can cause quite some inconveniences if you don't install them right, or use them in bad combo. There were description comes into play. So you can understand what you need to do in order for things to work. I admit I usually read just brief info, but if it doesn't work I dont got to comment section and write: DUDE, WTF, UR MD BRKE MY SKYRIM, FIX ASAP! I take my time and investigate. Never failed me in last 2 years.
  6. In response to post #7841390. #7841469, #7841601, #7846002, #7846106, #7846153, #7846561 are all replies on the same post. If I turn comments of how am I supposed to fix possible bugs that come with the mod? I can't. While I don't want to develop mod further I still feel obligated to fix the existing problems. I can't do that if ppl can't tell me about it. After I stopped posting things here it was way easier to start modding again. I now mod whole weekends for almost whole day and enjoy it far more than before. No limits of what to make and how this thing actually fits in Skyrim or any other game so to speak. Some authors are on a brink of nervous breakdown cause of this idiocracy, things will go worse and worse. I don't expect ppl to disappear, but you can expect for ppl to stop posting mods. I already know for some other guy that left this place cause of this. He had some great mods under his sleeve and I am happy i found his new site. So much cool stuff there.
  7. In response to post #7841390. #7841469, #7841601 are all replies on the same post. Do you know why ppl quit nexus? Because 70% of population here acts as a total idiots. No one cares to read mod description, even the stick posts. Just look at for example Realistic lighting overhaul 2 months ago, Climates of tamriel 2 weeks ago. This are only tip of icberg. You also get mods that are total s#*! ruin ppl computers, but moderator sticks with mod author, until they finally realize that the mod is s#*! and ban the moron. I remember posting on my mod description: Don't request anything, I have finished this mod and don't plan to develop it further. Yet still I got 3 comments that ask me to do something with the mod, on time I even got a private message that a guy wants me to do something with it. I never said that no one can pick my mod, if someone would have wanted it, I would allow it. But not I should search for someone that must pick up my project. Why? I am satisfied with what I have done, why should I search for someone that should upgrade it? If they want it to be develop it so badly, why not try it themselves? But after I got trough some other mods I decided that majority here doesn't deserve any of mods that are hosted on this site (not mine, actually mine should stay, they are a bit shitty, just appropriate). I moved my business elsewhere, not cause of actually worth of my mod, I just have enough of this please do this, do that, I want a cookie, I want a biscuit, even if I say I don't give anything, and don't plan to return hosting mods here never again. I rather put them on my private site, those who want them they will find them eventually, even if these mods are nothing really special or great.
  8. In response to post #7531724. I am not fond of LIKE expression makes me feel like I am on some teenager social site, which this site isn't (or at least it wasn't as I remember, but correct me if I am wrong).
  9. In response to post #7529679. Halofarm removed those some time ago, nothing related to site update I am afraid.
  10. Problems with readmes is that they are put mostly in same folder as esp and esm files. I honestly dislike that. It would be nice if we would come to some sort of arrangement for a folder that would contain readmes of all mods, Docs folder or Reamde folder inside Data folder. I install mods mostly manually so I don't have this problem most of the time, but it would be way easier the way i described for me to, since I publish mods from time to time myself.
  11. Not that I don't like paypal, but not all of us has constant injections of money on our bank accounts and gets sallary every months. At least in our country you have to pay to have a card that is viable for paypal. And I don't have money to get the card.
  12. @ starfis: I would love that feature, but it should be optional, since some mod authors don't want to do all the cropping image thing. I would on the other hand love to make a picture that would appear good on thumbnail.
  13. Hi, whenever i try to assign tags to my mod it returns with: No ID was supplied for this action Now i have searched on Google, it didn't returned a useful thing, i have also tried searching forum using: tag assign tag assign tags tag adding All i got was 1000 pages with no tag in the forum topic name. I didn't wanted to bother moderators with this if someone might now the reason for this. Ty
  14. Yea, thank you, you confirmed my thoughts. Well the problem is that a retex is made into standalone armor set, cause ppl usually complain about replacers and everyone now wants it to be Dawnguard not required and it has became very popular somehow and im not sure what to do. About the other armor containing Dawnguard mesh, it would contain just that. All other stuff like textures etc, it will be all made by me, and im really tired of listening: Can you please make this non Dawnguard required. :wallbash:
