  1. Alrighty, so I am finally rolling out the next version of BPP. I am over doubling the number of hairstyles included, and I am really wanting to give the hairstyles proper names. The problem... I know NOTHING about hairstyles :O. Fallout's always had these nice cool hairstyle names and I want some of that feel in my mod ^_^. Is there anybody out there who knows a thing or two about hairstyles and could donate a few hours of their time to help me get this sorted out?   2. I am SO happy to have them removed. It REALLY bugged me seeing six negative endorsements on Beauty Pack Plus. I mean I check the comments regularly, and get back to almost anyone who voices feedback, but out of the six negatives, three were because they couldn't get it to work. That's unfortunate, but my mod is incredibly easy to use with overly helpful instructions >_> the other three were because the mod did not suit their tastes. Why should a mod get negative rep simply because someone has different preferences? I mean I'm sorry if you don't like my mod, there sure is an alternative ^_^, and admittedly a rather nice one. Use whatever suits you best :D MY point in all that rambling... please, please, please, please do not bring back negative endorsements ^_^ Who really wants such a downer?
  3. I by no means hate this new site design. I'm sure it was a lot of work ^_^ Three big issues that I have come across so far though -- Firstly, I find the green buttons to leave a manage mod page, as well as the ones for kudos etc (you know, those green ones) to be difficult to notice sitting all the way over on the right by themselves. Secondly, images in the thumbnail gallery are being distorted to 16x9 dimensions. I don't know about other people, but none of my images match those dimensions, and it looks rather awful when they are skewed like that. Lastly, the fixed width column seems to waste a lot of space, making pages so much longer and content much harder to go through. On my main mod management page I now have to scroll and scroll to look at all my mods -- where they should easily fit on one page.
  4. If you can't load try deleting your cookie -- I couldn't get FNV Nexus to load until I pulled mine -- just kept bouncing a link back and forth. I have to tack on that I'm really not liking fixed width main column on a content-centric site. I know this is probably using the 960gs, but you can do variable width with 960.

  6. All you need to do is open both mods. If you open any mod AND my master file it will give you access to my hair (as long as the mod you're opening doesn't edit the RACE sections)
  7. Well for future reference: Eyes yes, hair no. If you go to the eyes sectionin the main viewer you can select any/all eyes at once. The only place to view hair though is in the hair editor, which does not allow multiple selection... I hate that fact.
  8. I'd love to add more hairstyles for men ^_^. The problem is all the modelers only care about women.
  9. It's not a mod that causes this. It's extracted hair meshes. Leave the hair meshes in their .bsa please and thank you.
  10. I'm working with a custom eye model in Fallout NV. It requires multiple texture files instead of the single one that GECK supports. I can set multiple textures in Nifskope, but it will use the same secondary textures for all the primary textures, which causes issues as the textures are not all based on identical layouts. Is there any way to either set the nif to base the extra textures on the primary texture's name, OR, to make GECK allow for more than one eye texture?
  11. Yes, the hair should be bluish purple :P It's the colour I chose ^_^ and the three textures are all defined correctly. However I've never heard of the last bit so I'm checking that out now, thanks throttlekitty ^_^ Alrighty, played with that, and the num uv sets flag just made the hair creepy and translucent ^_^ HOWEVER, I did fix it and you did help ^_^ All they seem to require is for me to go through every single nif and update the tangent spaces ^_^ Though I really don't understand what that does, it works :D
  12. Alright, so I've spent a good dozen hours adjusting this and that in the nif and textures, and even attempted to find something in the mesh itself. I'm having a bit of an issue and finally need to ask random strangers for help ^_^. I've been working on a hair compilation for some time now, and all had been well. Recently I imported several hairstyles from Oblivion and got them adjusted and added, and all seemed good until people started using it and going under bright lighting. The problem with all the newly added styles is that when under a bright light, the hugely reflect the light to the point that the whole top of the head looks almost white, and as well the shadows on the hair are very stark. I've tried playing with material settings in the nif, and adjusting the textures, but no matter what I seem to try the issue persists. I've included a picture of the issue here.   13. I've gone through the old fallout 3 tutorial for creating a vendor, and managed to almost create one fine for NV. I've run into one issue and I'm not sure how to fix it. I linked the vendor to the chest and when I sell them things the stuff goes into the vendor's chest, however the vendor isn't selling back things that are in the chest. The vendors sell side is always empty, even after selling them something. Anybody know what I might be doing wrong? EDIT: I found my own problem. I had ammo on the NPC but it was never set to vend ammo.
