  1. So it's that time again when my computer needs an upgrade and since I've been out of the loop for quite some time, I've kind of lost track of the best value for money hardware. I'm looking for a new mobo with at least 3 pci3.0 slots and a decent processor. I've been considering this >>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-INTEL-SIX-CORE-I7-3930K-CPU-ASUS-RAMPAGE-EXTREME-X79-MOTHERBOARD-COMBO-KIT-/350564525600?pt=US_Motherboard_CPU_Combos&hash=item519f462620#ht_4183wt_1163 What do you guys think, is it worth the cash, too expensive or a steal. Is it overkill, too little or just right for high end gaming? Also what may sound like a stupid question (but as I said I haven't been keeping track of hardware for some time) what is that black box, with a fan in the bottom left of the mobo?
  2. 1. You will need to make your npc a custom race, so it doesn't change any vanilla races. 2. Put your cbbe nifs in a seperate location to your normal body nifs (ie. Skyrim/Data/Meshes/Actors/CBBE/CharcterAssets) 3. Open the ck and load your npc's plug-in. 4. Find the SkinNaked form (under the Armor section), duplicate and rename it to something like SkinNakedCBBE 5. Find NakedTorso, NakedFeet and NakedHands (under the Armor Addon section). Duplicate and rename them something like NakedTorsoCBBE, NakedFeetCBBE and NakedHandsCBBE. 6. In the NakedTorsoCBBE form, load your cbbe nifs under the Biped Model section. Do the same for hands and feet. 7. In the SkinNakedCBBE form, delete evrything from the Models section and add your own NakedTorsoCBBE hands and feet. 8 In your custom npc's race form, go to the body data tab and load SkinNakedCBBE under the Skin section. Check out this thread for more details >>> http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/836154-custom-races-seperate-body-models/
  3. Yeah I made sure to assign the models to the correct places. I'm guessing the problem is with my custom race as I managed to get it working with vanilla races no problem. I'll keep messing around till I get it or if all else fails I'll take a look at that Unique Races mod. See if I can't learn something from it. Edit: Thanks to everyone who replied, got it sorted now. Had to duplicate the SkinNaked form and create a texture set.
  4. Hmmm, didn't seem to work, just stayed as unp. I duplicated NakedTorso as NakedTorsoCustom and added it to my custom race in the SkinNaked models form (while deleting the existing NakedTorso entry). I tried unchecking my custom race from the NakedTorso armoraddon form but it won't stay unchecked for some reason.
  5. Thanks. So If I'm using unp as my default body for all races but want just my custom race to use cbbe, I just need to duplicate the NakedBodyAtrid armoraddon entry, tick only my custom race under additional races and have the biped model point to the cbbe nif (in a different location to the unp nif)?
  6. I'm in the process of making some custom companions, using a custom race for each one, so that I can set their stats etc. without altering any vanilla races. But I would also like to be able to set the body model (unp or cbbe) to each companion individually. I assumed that I would be able to change which nif the race uses for its body model in the ck, but I can only find entries for the skeleton, hkx and egt files under the body data tab for the race. I'm probably going about this all wrong, so any help would be appreciated.
  7. Interesting. Thanks for the info, guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.
  8. Just came back from a short break away from Skyrim and I find a few people complaining that my custom race does not work properly in a Dawngaurd vampire quest. To quote a user "i did dawnguard quest and i accepted the vampire gift but when i go out of the door all come and attack me." I haven't actually played Dawngaurd yet, nor do I ever bother with vampirism, so I really don't know exactly what the issue is. If anyone could shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated. I noticed the Ashen Race has a Dawngaurd fix posted, so I'm assuming someone has already solved the problem.
  9. Armor mods are rarely ever added straight to the players inventory, they are usually crafted or found in the game world. Check the mods description to find out where they are or what they require to craft.
  10. The author took it down while he sorts out a save bloat issue.
  11. The script dragon version of the dual parry mod works fine and script dragon is easy to install. All you need to do is copy two files to your data folder.
  12. It's a TERA rip and not allowed on the Nexus.
  13. So simple that I see no way in which you could fail 1. Download 'DSpSoB - Weapons on Back' under the optional files. 2. Extract the archive. 3.Copy the extracted 'Data' folder to your 'Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim' folder or where ever your 'Skyrim' folder is installed.
  14. Dual sheath plus shields on back lets you equip weapons on your back. Just download the optional 'weapons on back' file if you don't want the whole dual sheath thing.
