  1. Hello, I have an issue, when I put on cowls\hats\hoods, and ONLY with those, it is giving me the fire effect (the vanilla sun exposure effect) on my character, and that annoying sound that comes with it.This character is not a normal vampire, its a vampire lord, if that makes a difference.I noticed that when I put on those types of headgears it gives me the notification "drain health added".http://imgur.com/HlDUwDe,2qwJhxO#0(the fire effect doesnt seem bad in the image, but it is extremely annoying in first-person).Like the fire damage wasn't enough, as I mentioned before, this effect comes with a subtle screechy sound that is driving me crazy. Why is this happening with this mod, shouldn't it overwrite the vanilla sun burn effect? Before you ask, I have the "Better Vampires" mod near the bottom of my loadorder, with only reproccer, predetor vision (which has to come after it to overwrite the nightvision effect), and the dual sheath patch after it. Please help, I am out of ideas
  2. Thanks, that was actually quite helpful, I'll be sure to test those settings as soon as I can  EDIT: I'd ask you to marry me, but I think you get that a lot. Thank you, I tried some settings, and I think that the "WaitBusyRenderer" did that trick, well, that or the skse.ini tweaks, in any way, thanks a lot! The AA question still stands, I really want to find a performance-friendly way of getting rid of those horrid juggies, I can use one AA option at a time, without tanking my fps, so a solution for that would be greatly appreciated  EDIT 2: http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3323&sid=261d26f63d0859f255ebcd8ab07a0791 Here is the answer to the AA question, if anyone's interested.
  3. I just found out my main issue, and you're right, my OC (gpu) wasn't very stable, but I did do a rethinking of the whole thing, ended up decreasing the clocks a bit for better stability. As for reservedmemorysize, I just wanted to know what it does to decide for myself if I should consider changing it (I changed it to 300, seem to have less stutters now, but it might also be the new OC values). The stutters aren't a major issue, I rarely get them, other than in major cities when there are a whole lot of npcs on screen, it might be the ram, its not very fast. The performance is great overall, I get about 35fps in major cities and 40-60 outside (other than obvious heavy areas like the marsh next to solitude, where I get about 30-35), with the occasional npc stutter. What should be the culprit with the npcs on screen\cone of sight thing, ram or gpu? As for specs, I don't really remember from the top of my head other than the cpu and gpu: Geforce GTX460 SE (recent OC changes, much more stable). Intel Q9550 stock clocks. 6gigs DDR2 of RAM (can't remember speeds or timing, but I'm pretty sure they'd be considered slow by today's standards) EDIT: I am using Phinix ENB, in the description the author clearly suggests using FXAA, I just don't know if he means its compatible with every AA in this preset or just the SMAA that is included in the package. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24235/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D24235%26preview%3D&pUp=1 (scroll down to "IMPORTANT").
  4. Hello, these "issues" have been bugging me for quite some time now, would love some input if you guys have some: a. If I enable FXAA from the SkyrimPrefs.ini , and the ENB FXAA option, do they overlap to make a more effective FXAA effect, or do they just cancel each-other out? b. What does ReservedMemorySizeMb do? Does it save some space on the VRAM to cache textures and ease the load on the RAM? I have 1gig of VRAM, what would you recommend I set that value to, I tried setting this to different values, but general stutters are always a thing, does this variable matter that much? I would appreciate any and all help, thank you.
  5. If anyone is interested, I solved it by reverting to old drivers. I am using GTX460 SE OC, Windows 7 64bit, I was using the 335.23 drivers and reverted back to 332.21.
  6. Hello, I've recently encountered a very severe performance issue that is preventing me from playing. I was running the game fine with the Phinix ENB and Pure Weather until yesterday, suddenly, after some hours of playing it seemed like the game applied some sort of filter that made my fps drop from a steady 30-35 to 11-15. I haven't changed any settings in the ini files or the ENB while this happened, Ive tried running the game without the ENB but it still runs on 30fps while it should've been running on 60. I also tried disabling all the lighting mods that I have installed (Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Pure Weather and the ENB), with no success. This is my load order: http://pastebin.com/5ipCin1B This is my Skyrim.ini: http://pastebin.com/9W5DBWS9 This is my SkyrimPrefs.ini http://pastebin.com/FGPjs8pp The corrupted save: http://www.sendspace.com/file/eo0iiz I should also mention that I have tried to open a new game but the same effect took place, after some time it seemed like the game froze for a second and then applied some sort of effect and then its this deal all over again. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help. Edit: Ive just tested cpu and gpu usage and degrees, Ive found that although the cpu is at about 30-40% used the gpu keeps it on 100% all the time, even with the ENB turned off.
  7. Well, as I said, I have modified the enbseries.ini so I dont wanna reset it back to default (took me quite some time), I think this comes from the night brightness commands, which is why I uploaded it here xD Im thinking its something to do with one of the [ENVIRONMENT] commands but I really dont know which one (my goal was to make dungeons and nights darker by modifying some commands) but along the way I must have either changes something that I wasnt supposed, overdid something, or didnt change a certain row to match the other one's parameters. So if you have any kind of direction of which commands that might be applied to Ill be more then happy to try it out (I dont wanna move things too much because Im really happy with how things look atm, except from the water obviously). EDIT: I just tried it your way and... http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/7128/2012080700002.jpg Atleast the sun looks better now xD Maybe something's wrong with my game settings? EDIT2: Someone from the ENBseries forums told me its an engine problem and that later versions of enb would try to fix that, thanks for the help though
  8. Hello good people! I have a problem with the water at night, when its nighttime I see the water "glowing" in contrast to the environment around it http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1864/2012080600003.jpg I think that pretty much explains it, so please help me with this :D ps - I use Sharpshooter's ENB (that comes with realistic lighting) with some tweaks of my own, and W.A.T.E.R. (1.5, but it has occurred with previous versions) with the green water fix. Here is my enbseries.ini (modified) if you wanna take a look: enbseries.ini
