  1. Been ages since my last visit. I'm kinda ancient history as far as modders go. Been gone, off the grid...Lot's of doctors and hospital stuff. It's gonna take a bit of time before I'm back up and running with my "Moddy Nonsense," but I'm glad that so many of you liked my stuff. Now, while I reserve the right to go back and play with my old stuff, I want to grant a, sort of, blanket permission to anyone who wants to go back and play with my Legos...And, if all goes as planned, the permission will carry forward to anything new I post. No more asking and waiting for, well, years in some cases. There is, of course, one caveat...If you use my stuff, your mods have to be free. I did, and will continue to do, everything for the fun of it. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due for any other authors assets. So, to recap, when my new mods pop up in the future you can do what you will with them...just message me so I can see what you managed to turn them into. As for the old stuff...Just have fun and play! Must have done something right, since SO many of you downloaded my toys... Thanks for all your support, ReflexShooter (Keith, in the real world)
  2. I can't believe that you've been running this candy store so long, using the methods of Angus MacGyver... ;-) Had I never found this site way back in the "FO3" days, I would have never thought to mod the game at all... These days, when "Beth" puts out a new game, this is the first place I visit...Not to "fix" things, but to make the games more personal... Can't thank you enough for giving me an outlet for my own aesthetic... So you just keep doing the voodoo that you do so well...Some "Down Time" will be worth the wait. Reflex
  3. I recently uploaded an armor mod, and had a problem while with getting some of the meshes to appear in game. I'd altered some of the cuirass meshes to better fit Khajiit and Argonian characters, and then tried to add them in the same way race specific gauntlets and helmets are added to the game. In the CK, all appears to be in order, but in-game the Khajiit and Argonians wind up naked. I have a feeling this may be something that will take scripting to solve, but I was hoping that someone with a bit more CK know-how would be able to explain what may have gone wrong with my attempts. Thanks!
  4. Don't know if this will help, but when I've used the "showracemenu" to make faces for NPCs, I've just been typing in the command: SPF "xxx" (xxx being whatever you're calling the file.) I haven't had any problems with the new file showing up. Maybe typing in the full command is what's giving you the problem? I'll try your method on my system, and see if I get the same results. Hmm...Just got back from doing a test. Tried to save a file using the command you tried AND the one I always use, and got BOTH "xxx.npc" files... I know this may be simplistic, but have you tried searching your directories for "xxx.npc" files? Maybe the're being saved somewhere else for some reason?
  5. Found your tips while looking for something else...SO glad I did! This will be a great help in my modding attempts. Thanks for being so clear and concise! Your final note about compressed textures solved a few of my problems already! Thank you very much!
  6. Hello, everybody! I've been here for awhile, enjoying the creativity and hard work of many modders, and realized I've been quite rude. I've been that guy who goes to the party, eats the snacks and drinks the beer, but never thanks the host. So, before I allow more time to pass, "Thanks for the party!"
