Ok cool thanks not sure what else I can do though after spending hours disabling each mod only To find the game does it with no mods installed and verifying the steam catch and then uninstalling the game, deleting everything in the data files (well actually moving it to a backup folder so I do not lose all my mods). Clean install with no mods on mod manager, checked the script extender was also off. Re enabled just that so I can apply the memory patch to see if that was the issue somehow. But that did not change anything. The only thing that changed recently was a windows update, which I would not be surprised if that was the cause somehow. And drivers were up to date when I checked, not sure I am gonna be able to work this one out since I am all out of ideas now. And it still loads my normal saves from other characters.
  2. Could someone create a clean save game with only alternate start live another life enabled, either before or just after character creation in the abandoned prison at the game start? I can use the console to edit race Basically my game will not start a new game but still loads saves, I have tried every solution including complete clean reinstall
  3. I have not changed any mods, and I have tried verifying the steam catch. When I start a new game it just freezes or CTD, I can play save game files fine. Never had this issue before, I have tried using NMM on an empty profile with no mods, I went as far as reinstalling the game and running it on lowest settings. I have tried using alternate start mods but the same thing happens. It has never done this before and I have not changed anything since my last new game.
  4. I dont think its that, its fine in my interiors underwater and other locations just the exterior of my mod.
  5. Ive got everything else perfect in my exterior cells but the under water color comes out as pitch black, changing the water multiplyer in the weather section doesnt seem to do anything. Anyone know how to change the color for under water, even using a light spell doesnt help with visibility.
  6. Im using the latest version of nifscope and ive made changes in fallout 4, which works fine. But if i save anything in nifscope, such as an object from skyrim, once in the creation kit it just shows a red ! mark. Even if i make no changes and just save an already existing file under a new name, move it to the meshes folder and select it in the creation kit it just shows a red !. Even though ive made no changes, anyone know why?

Im trying to work out how to move an object to the player via a magic effect, I can only get it to work if its an actor: This script works: Scriptname BREACH extends activemagiceffect Actor property BRAC Auto Const Mandatory Event OnEffectStart(actor t, actor c) BRAC.MoveTo ( c ) EndEvent BRAC is the reference of the object (actor) which is placed in a testing cell, it must be a specific reference so when you double click on the npc in the creation kit I name it BRAC. Works fine Except I want it to be a static or marker of some kind, but when I change this line to Actor property BRAC Auto Const Mandatory Static property BRAC Auto Const Mandatory it gets an error on compiling the script saying that static cannot be called as an object reference Question is, how can I get this script to work on a static object instead. The idea behind the script is a portal, reversing the script to move back and forth between the 2, I only used an actor to get the basics to work and it teleports fine, I just cant get it to work with anything else As you can see I'm not super good at scripting, just trying to get a basic mark and recall going here
  8. Is there any way to activate a bat file from the ingame scripts, or make the script write in the command console? For example, create an item that when the effect starts it puts the game in wireframe mode?

Im trying to make a script that changes the player race when an item is equipped and this is what I have so far Event OnEquipped(Actor akActor) Actor PlayerREF = Game.GetPlayer()PlayerREF.SetRace(akRace = none) EndEvent Event OnUnEquipped(Actor akActor) Actor PlayerREF = Game.GetPlayer()PlayerREF.SetRace() EndEvent I want to change it so it changes it to ghoul race but I don't know how to set a variable, for example in the creation kit the ghoul race is simply "Ghoulrace" but when I out ghoulrace in the akrace= it says ghoulrace isn't a variable. How do I set it as a variable? Thanks
  10. Thanks I think ive figured it out now, limiting the FPS and changing the graphic card settings to quality instead of performance seems to have fixed it
  11. I just got a new computer, even without mods this bug appears. Ive even set the sensitvity down on everything, that isnt the issue. Occasionally when im playing, time suddenly speeds up and just touching the forward control sends me barrelling off into the sunset. Ive tried using the console to set the game time to slower with SGTM command but this actually had no effect at all. Its completley random, sometimes happens in a menu and other times while playing normally, then it might return to normal after a few minutes or sometimes i have to exit the game and reload it and even then it sometimes appears straight away Dont even know where to begin looking for whats causing the problem
  12. âTrailer for my upcoming mod, mutant powers. When you awake from cryo statis you discover you have superpowers. But your not the only one in the wasteland affected by the radiation. Most powers are designed to not be OP and are made to support your character more than anything
