  1. Everyone says he needs the help ASAP... why do you need it ASAP? In a few days I'm gonna get a new laptop, now I have a Vista one. I was so happy, so I secured all my save files for my games. But the Morrowind save files are... no where? They are hidden. Hidden save files? What? I browsed the net for some help, I found out that Vista hides the save files to weird folders, that I could not find. I'm not a noob, so I ticked the show hidden files in the options, but only a few random folders like appdata showed. :wallbash: How can I help? I browsed the net and found a solution, that works for many other people but not me. Here it is: "With Windows Vista, go into your main `Program Files' folder. Once you are in the main `Program Files' folder (or main folder/drive) where you install your games, look at the top of the window, just below the top of your Browser, there is the Fat Blue Bar showing the main options catagories like `Organize', `Views', etc listed from left to right. Now, at or toward the far right is an option called `Compatability Files'. Click on that, and `bing bang boom, baby' that's where Vista is `hiding' a lot of stuff! Now, if you look at the top of the window, you'll see the actual `address' of where this stuff actually is. It should read something like: user>appdata>local>virtualstore. In other words, it's in your `user' file under the following sub folders" Now the problem is, that I have the fat blue bar with the Organize and Views buttons, but not the Compatability Files. Now what I need from you, is to help me get that button in that fat blue bar, or find another solution. I'm desperate.
  2. Hello. I hope you have OBSE. When you download the Pluggy, you get several files, like: Arrays,Pluggy,Strings,PluggySaveFile_Format... Well, if you installed Oblivion in this directory, C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion (default I think) , then just go to Data, manually make a folder named EXACTLY (notice the upper and lower cases) "OBSE". Go in that OBSE folder, and make a folder named "Plugins". Go in Plugins and make a folder names "docs". (No upper case d, just docs) That should make you a directory as follows: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\docs Then extract the files listed above in the docs folder. It works for me, hope it will work for you. Enjoy. :turned:
  3. Dunmer spellsword, probably... I don't know... :ermm: I have plenty of time.
  4. Telyn, thanks for the reply. I don't want to say I know how to use properly the CS, but I used the Morrowind one, even made a quest, (that was based on dialogues that make your journal updated, not killing something, not even sure if it's possible! :D) I also tried the Oblivion one, not much difference, I know how to insert objects etc., but I can't find those objects/meshes that the resource pack includes. I tried glancing over furniture, but there was nothing new (I think I didn't miss anything...) I thought it would make a new folder in that list, like MEO MESHES, ERIC'S COOL BUILDINGS etc.
  5. Hi guys, I downloaded a resource pack(if it will help you, it's THIS one, it looks great!:) ) that contains only meshes. I extracted the meshes in my Data directory, (I did it well, it's not the first time!) and opened the CS. I glanced over the things, trying to find the new meshes/furniture, but I found nothing. :wallbash: There was no .esp included or something, I don't know what to do... can you help me?Thanks! :woot:
