  1. Leaving a comment ;) Thank you for all that you do for the community!
  2. why not :) even if its a one out of 1000 chances to win... its still a free chance :)
  3. somehow my first comment didnt post... i refreshed, ctrl+f5 and ctrl+f a few times but its not here... so here is another one... I wish everyone luck... but i really hope i had enough to preorder so many amazing games from e3! :)
  4. wow what an amazing post! thank you so very much @nyxeka :) I did not come back to post my progress... I had found the github and download of the harmony dll... also did some digging in the compilation mod from "Q" ported from lilin's version... very interesting stuff! As much as I "know" C# and have been making an actual game with unity, this is indeed another level and very impressive! I am not sure when i'll have enough time to dedicate to learning all of that, but I definitely put a bookmark on your post as the references would be super useful. Again, thank you for taking the time to write all that! I am sure it could help someone else in a similar situation :) Have a great day!
  5. This is super cool!! I had no idea the devs were so awesome!! :) Can't wait to play and mod the sh.... out of this amazing game! :P
  6. Well first of all thank you very much for taking the time to answer! :) Much appreciated! However, I am guessing you didnt quite read my entire post fully... I know I tend to ramble on and write too much :P I have been making games in Unity for about 2 years now... got a few online games availlable... so I know my way around C# (CSharp) :) I however have been using unity monodevelopp to code... as I cannot seem to install Visual Studio for some reason (and I always postpone formatting my computer) I also know github/gitlab enough... so that is not a problem.. Now the only 2 things left are point #2 and 3... how to compile DLL (which i never had to do in CSharp or Unity), and what is Harmony... Still, I thank you again for taking the time to reply! that is great info and will definitely get me started! :)
  7. I have been playing this game for a few days... enjoying greatly the few mods that are availlable... I would however very much like to create my own... I have tons of ideas and improvements that I could try to bring to the scene... I have been creating games in Unity for the past 2 years so I know my way around C#... I however, have never touched a dll file... nor do I have any clue on where to start... I tried opening dll files in monodevelop from the mods I use (blueprint tracker, map, easy craft) to see how they were made or what type of code is in them, but nothing happens... Anyone has any suggestion or tips on where I could get the info needed to get started? :) Thank you very much for your time and have a nice day!
  8. I also had the same problem when i first installed qmodmanager... i sloved it by going into my game folder and manually running QModManager.exe from steam you can go to properties, then view local files, then open the following folders Subnautica_Data then Managed and double click QModManager.exe there... it will ask to type "yes" to install properly... then all you need to do is make sure your mods are in the QMods folder each mod in separate folder. hope it helps! :)
  9. hummm if you wish to edit stuff that is already availlable in the ini files, why dont you simply use the modhelper and then grab an untouched ini file and do your own changes? "NOT" to shamelessly promote my own mod, but you can grab it, run the installer batch file (for either EnemyUnknown or Within), then grab the "default" unchanged ini files, and do whatever changes you want for yourself!! And all will work perfectly! :) http://www.nexusmods.com/xcom/mods/54/?
  10. ouffffff... you lost me at c-sharp... lol... i am really bad when it comes to pretty much any kind of programming... didnt have a choice to learn very basic LUA scripting for my work... but anything more complex... well i usually leave it to others! ;) seriously i guess i should try and learn... but i was looking for some easy way... hehe...
  11. Thank you for the nice reply! much appreciated!! At least I know what is possible and what is not... Here is another version of the question... hehe... I am not asking for the ESP file to actually "edit" the ini file itself... but to use "commandes" that are not in the ini and apply them (kinda like if you typed them manually in the console)... here are a FEW examples of the type of lines I am looking to add to the game [MapMenu] sMapCloudNIF=0 fWorldMapDepthBlurScale=0 fMapWorldZoomSpeed=0.2000 uLockedObjectMapLOD=8 fMapZoomMouseSpeed=22.0000 Theses could get added on each launch via ESP or any other way actually.... I just want to make it as simple as possible for people who know nothing of computers (or how to find the right folder to begin with)... so they can activate the mod and it will work... without having to backup their skyrim.ini file... or having to change anything... Again, thank you for your time!! :)
  12. Hi all, I am a very noob moder, although i have worked in the gaming industry for the past 10 years, I have never really been involved with coding OR art design... ;) Anyway, as the title says, I am looking for a way to make one of my mod into an esp file... Currently I share my own skyrim.ini... but since this file contains many other tweaks, most people will simply copy the lines they want themselves and will not bother downloading... I would want to make it easier for everyone to download my mod and not the entire skyrim.ini file! :) I dont even know what program can be used to make esp file... hehe... If anyone could at least point me in the right direction it would be MUCH appreciated! thank you and have a nice day!! -=Fire Hawk X=-
  13. I just went through all seven pages of mod request twice but did not notice any request about the medallion... I have been searching for a mod/cheat/trainer for the medallion... Basically anything to remove or reduce cooldown on the medallion... OR make it permanent Or put the length of how long it last 3-5 times longer any of thoses would be awesome... if its only in a xml file i could do it... but the problem is finding where that information is stored! :) If anyone can help it would be really nice! :) Have a nice day!
  14. I totally agree with the comment and request on this one... the volume balance is really horrible... and with only music and sfx... voice seems to be tied with one or the other... and not balanced at all... So if a mod fixing this was possible... it would be awesome! :)
  15. Thats what i tought... So basically unless i am a guru of scripting (which i am not unfortunately), its going to be impossible to make the effect permanant?... I was checking the Combat Assistant (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37502), and he manages to get the perk from boone to be on all the time... and even some variant for allies, ennemies, dead ennemies, etc... its really aweome (yet way too much intrusive than what i had in mind) I only want to add a little Rpg/mmo flavor by having loot glow... thx for the answer though! :)
