  1. Can anyone make an esp that changes the Spellbreaker from Heavy Armor to Light Armor, and improvement from Dwemer Metal to Malachite? I have a few characters using Light Armor, including my latest, and while I'd like to, I don't want to bother doing Peryite's quest unless I can actually use the shield as intended. Even better if it could have 2 variants that auto-select depending on your skill (like some armors in Oblivion), but that would require the CK.
  2. They're not banned from Whiterun or any other city. Khajiit mercenaries are banned from setting up shop inside the cities.
  3. I've lately been having some problems with frequent crashing of the game. This seemed to start after the 1.2 or 1.3 update (I'm not sure as I was away from home for the exact period between their releases). I'm certain it's not a PC performance issue (the rig can handle more than what Skyrim offers), and I don't think it has anything to do with mods, because I have not installed any mods since a few days before 1.2 appeared. The game also tends to lose some textures in game much more often (like a certain species of tree, Steel Armor, one ice texture, some glow maps etc.), and to fix that, I have to exit to the Main Menu and then continue where I left off. There's also the occasional screen flicker. None of these were a problem before, but now, unless I save obsessively, I risk losing progress when I'm out in the wilderness for any extended period of time. Anyone else notice this?
  4. I did eventually manage to marry a Khajiit, but by using the console to change Camilla Valerius into a Khajiit :D Unfortunately, every time I reload a save I have to do the setrace dremora -> set race khajiit trick to remove the head glitch when switching from humanoid to beast. Also, the setactorfullname command only works with predetermined strings now, so I can't edit her name to anything useful.
  5. As I've said in another thread, if you do, please model real boots (cover paws completely) and not only leggings, like in your Oblivion mod.
  6. No, it won't work on race/gender combinations that don't have any voice acting. That means no khajiit or bosmer will get the necessary dialog options even if you use thos commands.
  7. Yes we do. Maybe it will be easier to make race-specific meshes that load correctly in Skyrim. I just hope that the modder actually makes real boots and not leggins that don't cover the paws.
  8. Incorrect. The Mane is the king of all Elsweyr. He is said to have a huge mane, but he's only a normal Khajiit that is born during a chance alignment of Masser and Secunda during a Solar Eclipse (if Masser and Secunda share a resonance in phase repetition of 2:3, so orbital periods that are slightly out of phase with a 2:3 resonance, then the whole Khajiit shape thing be made relatively simple in a future TESx: Elsweyr). Now, many people can be born during such a solar eclipse, so it's likely that one that is 'suitable' (close to the court) is chosen. This has nothing to do with marriage in Khajiit society. No, you can't, because there's no dialog for Bosmer and Kahjiit for marriage.
  9. Name: Tsandarji Race Khajiit Level: 29 Skills: Heavy Armor, Destruction, Smithing He's a White Khajiit with black markings and black hair, plays as a battlemage, so destruction and hand to hand via heavy armor are the main attack skills. Apart from the skills above, he's good with enchanting, speech, alchemy, restoration, lockpicking. He's killed Alduin, helped the Imperials win the civil war, he became archmage, destroyed the Dark Brotherhood, and he did 4 daedric quests: Sheogorath (or Sheggorath as it is in Ta'agra, the Khajiiti language), Azura (or Azurah), Meridia, and Hermaeus Mora. He is thane in 4 holds, and owns property in Solitude and Whiterun. He's married to Camilla Valerius, who recently set up shop in Solitude, after a stay in Whiterun.
  10. The only way to get good at unarmed is to go heavy armor and unlock the perk that adds your gauntlets' armor rating to the damage that your unarmed attacks do. That's 15+(armor rating), where the armor rating is altered by perks, enchantments and the armor combo you have. I have a Khajiit battlemage that bases his non-magical attacks on unarmed and he does a lot of damage every hit.
  11. Dwemer weren't any shorter than an average Tamrielic race. They were probably called dwarfs by being shorter than the people who described them as such. Their disappearance is a result of their attempt to use the Heart of Lorkhan haphazardly. In one book, dwemer scientists rushed to conclude that if the operation is interrupted prematurely, there wouldn't be any ill effect. That obviously wasn't the case, so they disappeared. Yagrum was in another plane when that happened, so he escaped that fate, but he also contracted Coprus disease, which turned him into a bloated version of a Dwemer, walking on a centurion spider. Even though a side effect of Coprus is that it stops aging, I doubt that he survived the eruption of Red Mountain (in 4 years after the Oblivion crisis afaik), so there are no more Dwemer around. It is interesting that they in fact did understand the less than divine nature of the 'gods' (Aedra and Daedric Princes) in TES, which is hinted by various events throughout the game's history, and that there is some other order in control of the 'gods'.
  12. Vivec isn't heard from again, not because he's killed by the player. The official storyline goes along the normal path for finishing Morrowind. As for Paarthurnax, Wrath_Of_Deadguy01 sums it up nicely. Those two Blades can be as angry as they want, it's not like I need them. Anyway, the loyalty of the Blades recruits lies with me, so if I want one of them to follow me they still will. Asking Esbern for help is OP anyway because he sends all 3 recruits (and all are tagged as essential). The one time I did that, they killed the dragon before I had a chance to land a single blow (I rushed for the dragon wall to learn the throw voice shout and run from the lich guarding it). EDIT: I didn't know that Delphine was so annoying at the peace negotiations, as I had already finished the Imperial storyline by that point, so I skipped the mission. There's another good reason to not kill him.
  13. It happened to me once when I killed a dragon that spawned at the same place where I killed another.
  14. I made her a Blade, so she left to go to their sanctuary at Alduin's Wall. Best way to get rid of a nosey housecarl, and make her essential (unkillable).
  15. For a Khajiit specialized in heavy armor, the Imperial Legion is the obvious choice. Ulfric's boys are too racist, and it's not like he can stand against the Thalmor on his own. Hell, maybe the entire rebellion is financed by the Thalmor. No one in the Imperial chain of command is happy about the compromise regarding Talos, but until the situation is stabilized in the provinces, there's no other option. It is kind of odd that I'm a battlemage in the Imperial Legion (where the battle part involves hand to hand), but then again it's very odd that I'm Dovakiin, slayer of Alduin :D
