  1. I'm having trouble trying to fix a problem with THE LOD meshes added with RAEVWD. At certain angles the reflections turn black or other colours and then go back to normal looking in other directions. I have HDR enabled and always have. I tried seeing if bloom might fix it, but didn't, so switched back to HDR. I ran oblivion in obse and vanilla, tried with only oblivion.esm enabled, still didn't fix the problem. Tried other LOD mod such as MTRAEVWD, and some of the rocks didn't reflect with black alongside others that did. I tried editing ini for LOD and Water settings. Nothing worked, is there anything I'm missing? thanks.   2. Hey everyone on nexus forums. Just ran into a small problem. I have finished the main storyline and have also done the cure vampire quest from Molag Bal because I was a vampire once but found it anoyying and so cured it. Just wondering how can I join clan Aundae (clan I want to join) after I have completed these two quests? Console commands would be fine. Thank you and hope to hear back soon :smile:
  3. Have been thinking of this idea for about a year, and now that the modding tools have been released today, I have started work on my "Dream Mod". Basically I'm remaking solsthiem as it would be 200 years from the bloodmoon expansion which was my favourite part of Morrowind. My idea is that for fort frostmoth it could be a big fort now, raven rock would be huge but poor like it is, full of refugees and miners, Skaal and Thirsk would have grown in size, maybe introduce a few new places. The glacier will almost have been melted revealing the daedric ruin within, and Castle Kaarstag would have almost melted but still explorable. Also I was thinking that for the main quest you are chosen by Hircine. But you are placed in his hunting grounds realm and not another bloodmoon. I have many ideas and lots of lore memorized and new lore I have made that still fits with Elder Scrolls that I would like to apply to it. Just putting up this notice to see if people would want to take part in it aswell.
  4. That is one thing I have noticed in skyrim, is how stiff and clumsy it feels when your in combat or if your turning the camera, especially when running. Oblivion and Morrowind are so much easie to control with a mouse and keyboard because they were not console ports. I know because I had Morrowind and oblivion on console before I got them on PC.
  5. I think its kind of a bad thing that the controller is better to play skyrim with than a mouse and keyboard on the PC version. Console ports, we meet again! I also use the controller to play skyrim, same with Crysis 2.   7. Just wondering if anybody would be interested if I did create the Oblivion Graphics Overhaul, the oblivion version of the Morrowind Sound and Graphics overhaul on Planet Elderscrolls. Would me creating this mod upset everybody or get me banned from TesNexus. Anyways here is the mod list I was planning to use for the Overhaul. P.S. My idea for the lay out and installation would be to do it in 5 parts. Have the important stuff and easy to run mods that don't need a specific load order as part 1. Part 2 could be to do with DLC and optional items, also OMOD files. Part 3 could contain all the high resolution textures that are optional, if computer cant handle. Part 4 could continue the Textures and contains the meshes. Part 5 contains the rest and the Tes4LOD Generator. In this layout, it would be easy to install the mods, and would not require or force you to download other things either and you can decide what mods or patches you would want to install.   10. There were some issues with the model.

    First, you had duplicated faces. You can delete those by hitting remove duplicate faces.

    Second, your normals were flipped. They were pointing inwards.

    Third, your materials were reflecting black, making it turn black. All I did was make it emit less black light to fix it.

    Who made the texture/model. Dont listen ...

    Thank you very much for this, you have saved me a lot of time and I kudo you for that, but there is still one problem. Even though when you wear the boots it works, but when they are in the game world they are still black. Did you apply the same fix to the GND version aswell, also how did you do the fix, I didn't think it possible :D .

  13. Hello everyone on the Nexus, and welcome to this notice. The notice is to hopefully recruit any volunteers that would like to help me and my fellow project workers complete this mod before Skyrim comes out, we are almost there being 2 and a half weeks until Skyrims release and this mod is about 95 % complete. The reason for this notice and the need for volunteers is that there are difficulties with certain things involved in this project. One of them is under control, but the other is a complete mess. The thing that is driving everyone crazy is remaking the boots of the apostle from Morrowind. Because this is a tamerelic artifact, it needs to be made to make the collection complete. We have got textures and meshes for it, but in game, the boots appear black :( , and another thing is try to get the Levitation script to work. I have sorted out of how to get the spell to appear in your spell list when you equip the boots, but when you cast the spell, no levitation happens, that's the two things we need help with.
