  1. Thanks, y'all! Just kind of out of it today, I guess. :P
  2. I'm certainly not an amateur to the Creation Kit, but one tiny issue popped up that it seems I can't change in the Render View Properties. I came back to edit my mod, and noticed there were axis rings around all of my lights to show how far the light goes, I would guess. I'm sure that this IS useful, but it's getting in the way of other things, and I'd like to know how to turn this option off. I can't seem to figure out how. Anyone know?
  3. I'm afraid there may be a misunderstanding of what I mean. By "icons", I mean the map markers which you hover over to fast travel to their set location. What I want to do is use an editor to create entirely new markers and apply these to my mod. An example of said markers is shown below: http://www.gamerguides.com/assets/media/skyrim/introduction/skyrim/compass-icons/w1600h1600/80464-1412636400-png.png
  4. Greetings, I'm creating a mod and simply need to know how I would go about adding new fast travel icons to Skyrim. I've looked in a lot of places, but could never actually find out how to do it. Can anyone help me with doing this? Thanks, - M
  5. This is awesome information! I'd suspected it had something to do with the LOD, but I wasn't sure how I could fix it up. Thank you so much! - M
  6. Greetings, I've been working on a DLC-sized mod which includes a large worldspace (by this, a separate, large world). However, obviously there's been no map to appear after going into the map menu while in the new worldspace; it simply uses the regular Skyrim map and uses the map markers which are in the new worldspace. How do I get the map for my new, custom worldspace to show up? Is it manually done (I've searched in BSA files, and didn't see anything on a world map(?)), or is it automatically generated? I assume it's the latter, and I may be missing something obvious or something, as the topic hasn't exactly been covered that much. Thank you, - M
  7. Thank you! I will definitely look into this, it seems that one of these will work. Thank you for the fast reply! - M
  8. To be clear, this is not a question about how to make a follower. That process is quite easy. However, in a quest, I want to make an NPC begin following me. There would be no trading equipment option or anything (you would just attempt to talk to the NPC and they would say an idle statement); just the NPC following the player. I looked into some Vanilla Skyrim quests which include this (such as the quest wherein the player rescues Derkeethus, and the radiant companion quest wherein the player rescues a victim), but found nothing that implied a script which activated such a following command. So basically, I need to know the line of script, or whatever else allows this process to begin and move along so that an NPC involved in a quest will follow me. I could not find anything on this subject online, and I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks, -M
  9. Hello, I'm definitely not a noob to modding, haha, but I am to the nexus, so I figured I'd turn to the forums for some help, and hopefully I've put this topic in the correct category. I was trying to think of an instance in Skyrim where you're talking to a dying/injured NPC, and then after saying their last words, they die. Obviously, they'd die by the use of a short line of script after a bit of dialogue. Unfortunately, I could not think of an instance such as this, so I could not search for such a quest to see what the line of script was. Can anyone tell me what line of script this would be? Thanks, M
