Skyrim SE's Constant Freezes, CTDs and character just getting "stuck" (npcs carrying on as usual but character unable to move or interact) All of the mods that I have ported or modded myself have been tested and textures and nifs cleaned and all run through CK. I have also tried clean complete new starts with these NOT included, so I can for the most part take these off the table as being an issue. Still... I can't even make it to Riverwood with out dozens of ctds and or freezes. SOOOOO... suggestions? Fresh eyes? Any suggestions... other then "forget about SE and just play a Oldrim because it worked",,, because I have already considered that. lol

I do use Sim Settlements. Can i turn this off? How do I make the creepy glowing red kid stop looking at me!? lol. Seriously? They all have beds and assigned jobs.... still glowing.

I see tons of issues regarding this problem and it is always the same answer targeting hud or power armor. No and No. I have not used any power armor since that stupid museum thing at the beginning and I don't have any targeting mods. Everything was fine. I opened the workshop screen and all the settlers started to glow and have glowed ever since.... any ideas on how to make it STOP?

As it stands... I have not been able to play SSE. I tried but without my FULL working SkyUI and Convenient Horses... it is just a no go. Can't. do it. I gotta have my hotkeys. Not being snarky... I understand all about RL playing hardball. It has been hitting me pretty hard here lately as well. I get it!!! Still I don't see why or how allowing members who have the skill to assist could hurt. (that group sadly does not include me). Why not let others do some of the grunt work for you. The SKSE team would only need to supervise and of course have final approval. Just a thought. Still wishing the Team well. You all ARE appreciated!

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the horrendous light show that accompanies any magic used in game? I am using No Glow, No Light Show... and a number of other mods. They worked for a while but now ... shriek .... I can't make the lights go away! I don't mind the small glowing orb in your hand. That is cool but the rest of the swirling LSD trip needs to go!!! Please help. ... and no I am not on Skooma! lol

Great the trespassing problem with my horse is back. :mad: Now, I am also being accused of trespassing for using my alchemy table in Breezehome. Another observation... it is not just the guards. Olfina Graymane likes to get in on the Dragonborn bashing.

The title pretty much sums up the issue. Anytime I try to ride my horse I am swarmed by guards telling me I am trespassing. If I get off the horse they will sheath their weapons and chat like normal. Hop on the horse and they draw their weapons again. :confused: I tried ignoring them but that only adds to my crime bounty for trespassing. Oh, and the horse is mine bought and paid for, at the Whiterun stable, with shiny clinky imperial coins. I have found similar issues on the internet but none seems to have offered any solutions. Even though the horse was purchased, I have tried using the console commands and reset the player ownership and faction. That made zero difference. I tried resetting the guards AI... they will calm down and walk away but if I try to ride away.... Yep, here they come running with swords drawn. (Killing the guards, while personally satisfying, does not help in solving the situation. lol) I thought the issue might be related to the Crime Overhaul mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71531/?) I actually created an entirely new play through without that mod just to be sure that no lingering scripts could cause any issues. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the situation. Then, I thought perhaps it was being caused by Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65013/?). Disabled. memory.c - !IsBadReadPtr(InPtr, InSize) Is not a mod issue. Is a Steam issue. You have to go to your Steam library. Select Skyrim and verify game integrity . Steam will then redownload you Skyrim file. Problem fixed.

Spoiler Alert: (Though most people have probably been there and done that by now. lol) During the Mind of Madness quest. You are dressed in "fine clothes" and "hat" :confused: . This totally sucks as my beautiful apachii hair is gone and I am bald. :down: My question is would simply creating a mod removing the hat from the clothing list fix this issue or create a worse one? I have recently started a new game so I am no where near close to this quest or I would just try it out. That and I really don't want to mess up my game... AGAIN. ugh. .... Any thoughts?
