  1. So... as far as I know I have made no changes to the [interface] section of any of the .ini files. But I do see, however, that the fSafeZoneYWide16x10=36 and fSafeZoneXWide16x10=64 shows the value 16x10. When in fact I am using a 16:9 resolution. Could this be the culprit? The game itself looks fine, and so does the rest of the HUD, it's just those shadowy background thingies that seem to have... shrunk and become offset somehow. The entire [interface] section looks like this; [interface] fSafeZoneYWide=36fSafeZoneY=36fSafeZoneYWide16x10=36fSafeZoneXWide=64fSafeZoneX=64fSafeZoneXWide16x10=64fCrosshairAlphaPercent=100 If anyone can tell me whether these values are correct when using 16:9, and/or have any other ideas. Sure, I have mods installed (duh!) but no mods that have required me to change any interface settings or display settings in the .ini files whatsoever. It's not gamebreaking or anything, but it's incredibly distracting when in conversations. And, well, overall very annoying tbh. Oh! And the loading screens seems to have the same aspect ratio as those out-of-place shadows. It's as if those shadows and the loading screens thinks I'm playing in 1680x1050 when I'm in fact playing in 1920x1080... Thanks in advance...
  2. Yeah, that's not the issue mainly for me. I'm using all of aMidianBorns 4k packs, and lots of other 4k packs. I'm not especially worried about textures that's 2k or less. It's mostly those 4k giants I want to sort out somewhat ^^
  3. All I knew was that the program I used to use for optimizing fresh installed mod textures was named Optimizer Textures on Nexus. That's all I had to go on :D but your tip seems a bit more intricate. Used it pretty much for all Bethesda-games. And it worked pretty well. I usually knocked off a couple of hundred MB from my VRAM usage, which always helps. Without any hits on visual quality.
  4. Looks exactly like what I need, buddy! Cheers :D
  5. Cheers! I'll give it a whirl ^^
  6. Hey everyone! I have a question. I'm in dire need of the Optimizer Texture program. And right now, for some ungodly reason after years of existence, it's being reviewed by a moderator (!?). God knows how long it will be unavailable. If anyone can e-mail it to me I'd be overjoyed! Thanks in advance! ^^ give me a yell and I'll provide my e-mail.

  8. Well, it's not only textures that causes crashes as far as I know. Especially settlement mods cause a great deal of problems as well. Although those are understandable seeing as they most likely have fiddled around with the core game files. The texture issues are just plain weird.
  9. Actually... I can't see any difference whatsoever x) maybe it's just me going blind... EDIT: Scratch that. Just found it. LOOOL!
  10. First of, sorry for doubleposting, but I was not sure which category this falls under. So... I'm having this weird issue with my Power Armor HUD. I'll add some pictures that'll show the exact issue I'm having. While I'm out of the armor everything is dandy and well, as the first 3 pictures shows. However when I enter a Power Armor the HUD gets... weird. I've tried disabling all HUD mods I've been using, and also all the Power Armor HUD changing mods (Clear PA HUD to be exact), and there's no change. I've also tried all kinds of video options. Which leads me to believe that I've accidentally screwed something up in my .INI. So I'm posting here in hopes that someone out there might know what's up with this, or if someone else have encountered this. It's getting really frustrating. I can basically do **** while I'm in my armor now. Thanks in advance. http://i.imgur.com/lhRoy7P.jpg <- Normal HUD (using white colours, as I always do...) http://i.imgur.com/5PxyDiM.jpg <- PA HUD (notice the black crosshair and the black compass icons...) http://i.imgur.com/rUdouSA.jpg <- Normal map http://i.imgur.com/VzsQBt5.jpg <- PA map http://i.imgur.com/rh4StTu.jpg <- Normal inventory http://i.imgur.com/lDtH0IT.jpg <- PA inventory

  12. Yeah, well, I thought ahead and were super-cautious and simply made a copy of my 1.2 installation, all save files, the mod manager load order files and all .INI files before even touching the update, having had issues with bigger Bethesda patches in the past  so I could simply go back to 1.2 and keep playing as nothing had ever happened. Sometimes it pays to go the extra mile xD sooo... I guess it's just a waiting game now. Lucky I have Dragon's Dogma (that FINALLY came to PC...) to lean back on for a good amount of time.
  13. Basically 1.3 screwed up modded games beyond repair. I reverted back to 1.2 and decided to wait until all the major mods is updated. The cons waaay overstep the pros, so... it's not worth to get my 80+ hour game totally ruined by this. Not even with all the 1.3 improvements. And there ARE awesome improvements that should have been in the game from the get go. But no. No way, no how. This must be the first time a patch from Bethesda has completely rendered a modded game 100% unplayable. And it boggles my mind.
  14. Gore Overhaul is known to make the game crash with the new 1.3 patch. OCDecorator is a bit iffy for some people as well. You might want to remove that until it is patched. The issue is not isolated to that one mod however. I'd revert back to 1.2 for a while until all the bigger mods gets updated. Hope it helps.
  15. In response to post #34088275. #34095225 is also a reply to the same post. Same here. It's all weird with my FO4 x) I've resorted to manually sorting them.
