  1. No matter what I do, which save I load and even if I start a new game, a CTD happens before anything even loads. I have currently got no mods installed and everything is as it would be after a fresh installation. It was working slightly to begin with but now it's just not working at all. i've looked in the Papyrus Log and it appears (for the older saves) that it's still trying to find scripts relating to mods I no longer have, and for the 'new game' it's all dawnguard related and says "cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property" Can anybody shed any light on this? I expected a re-installation to have less of the CTDs...Thanks for your time :)

  3. I think I may have a small idea of what you're on about :) I too, believe I saw a tutorial on it ages ago but I've no idea where! I'd like to know since I'm a tad bored of the default houses and fancy living somewhere else properly. i'll be massively thankful if you find said tutorial!
  4. I've had a look at the vanilla player homes to see what makes them so special in terms of the ability to get your partner to move into your home and live there, with no such luck. Does anybody know how I would go about making a player-home and having it so my spouse has the option to move in with me? Thanks!
  5. I may just be being nit-picky but I find it quite annoying that interiors of buildings are lit to exactly the same level during the night, as they are in the day. I don't know if it is possible in any way at all, but would there be any way for interior cells to take note of the time of day, and adjust the brightness of the interior cell accordingly. I find it a little annoying that when I'm inside it could easily be midday, or midnight as there are no brightness indicators. Thanks :)
  6. I've tried my best to find an online guide, or at least some pointers on the interwebs, to see how to assign 'brawlability' to an NPC. I would be most thankful if somebody could give me some tips to how I can create an NPC, or multiple NPCs in the creation kit so they have the ability to brawl with the player at any given time. Thanks!
  7. Below are the attached screenshots showing what I see in the CK and what's actually in Skyrim. I'm modding the tavern in Rorikstead, and my first 'wave' of alterations to the tavern worked fine, but now I have made a few positional changes to things in the tavern all hell breaks loose and things end up allover the place, such as the flying cheese wheels near the left door, and the disappearing mounted animal heads on the back wall. I'm pretty certain no other mod is conflicting, as this is the only mod I have which concerns this particular location, but whatever change I make seems to screw everything up, even the Nav-Mesh isn't reading correctly and the inn-keeper's sitting happily in a wall, on a barstool which wasn't even in the tavern to begin with! Thanks for any help, or guidance anybody can produce :)
  8. I have completed Under Saarthal and spoken to the Arch-Mage about reading up on the orb in Saarthal but when I speak to Urag nothing can be found from him and the quest isn't in my journal. I have also spoken to Mirabelle but she also has nothing to do with it. I've tried a few console commands to reset or even restart Under Saarthal but the preceeding quest just doesn't wanna appear. Any ideas to as how I could either get the quest back or...something haha. Thanks for your time

  10. I completely removed the shaders folder in my /Data folder and nothing changed, only some even worse problem haha. Darn it!
  11. The fact I had to wait almost 2 hours for it to update puts me every wanting to re-install it again haha. Nothing's changed either D:
  12. I only downloaded the different textures today to see if it solved it, but nothing's changed...other than the textures of course. I've had the problem for a while, I think it's to do with another issue which seems to be connected. I've attached a picture of what this issue is, it appears as though the area that should be transparent is always appearing somewhat visible. It makes it so that the grass or trees near the water have a clear border around them and the trees in the sky have a big transparent rectangle around them so cloud effects aren't shown through them. @gengar I'm in the process of re-instealling it, although I bought it on disk so I doubt it's anything to do with a dodgy download haha. Thanks a lot for your time so far :)
  13. I use no post-processing mods, no. I don't use any custom shaders either so I'm a little confused to as why it's happening. What you say about the shadows sounds feasible however.

  15. I have downloaded some different textures but the shadows for grasses and trees are still square, thanks for your help however :)
