  1. When starting a new game using Live Another Life, if I start in an Interior cell (like the Inn starts) everything is great. But if I start in an exterior cell (Camping in the Woods, for example) my character has no hair. And I can only get it back by using showracemenu to set the hair again. And then from that point forward any save loaded from that start will have no hair. I've tested this with Vanilla hair, modded hair and modded HDT hair. Google is not being helpful so has anyone encountered this before? Edit: I think I solved it, it was an interaction between Open World Loot and an existing helmet hiding mod.
  2. There is a mod that is using a quest to overwrite the outfit changes another mod is making. Is it safe to just go into the CK and delete that character's quest alias or do I have to change the script itself as well? Edit: I just turned the quest off and that fixed it
  3. Twice now I've replied to PMs and had the message fail to send the first time, and then upon trying again, it attaches a bunch of garbage to the message that needs to be edited out. Something is messed up.
  4. Or you could just put them in the leveled lists with a script and not try to be overly clever
  5. The textures work just fine. But Skyrim SE won't read the BSA files from the original game. If you extract the BSAs into loose files they will work
  6. UNP and CBBE work fine, you just need to make sure you install the XPMSE skeleton (but NOT the HKX files) if you are using meshes weighted for HDT. You won't get HDT movement, but at least your game won't crash.
  7. Jesus christ The limit is still there. It will always be there until they completely change how they handle FormIDs. FormIDs are 8bit strings, the leading two bits are used to indicate the source plugin. Starting at 00 and ending at FF. FF is reserved for items dynamically created in the game. Therefore there is a max of 255 individual plugins. Skyrim SE comes with 5. Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfires.esm and Dragonborn.ESM, leaving 250 available for use by the player. This is not news. This has been known for ages. Please attempt to do a modicum of research. ANYONE who works with mods could have told you this.
  8. Note: There will be no HDT effects (bouncing, etc) but this is how you do it with no crashing. Download the newest version of the XPMSE Skeleton Unpack the archive to a temporary directory Find the folder "07 XPMSE3 (Recommended)". Pack THIS DIRECTORY ONLY into a new archive. Drop the archive into Wrye Bash or NMM. Then install it. Now your HDT enabled body meshes and clothes can be used, but again, with no actual HDT effects. But they won't crash the game.
  9. Install bodyslide Install armor mods that are bodyslide compatibile Open Bodyslide Select an armor from the top dropdown box Select a preset from the second dropdown (or create and save your own) Hit "Build" Done. Thats it.
  10. Don't bump 4 year old threads holy s#*!.
  11. Nope, this has never been answered. There is definitely not tons of easily available answers to this question. Sorry, you're just gonna have to wait in suspense.
  12. Sure is a lot dudes mad about being called sexist in this thread.
  13. I'm curious as to why you are asking here and not on LL where SoS is maintained. Or would that make far too much sense? Anyway, its almost certainly not SoS causing your problems.
  14. You can't use Wrye Bash to install OBSE, you have to do that manually. The files are red because they all have the same creation date. For reasons best left to the side, Oblivion uses the creation date of ESP files to determine load order. You should download and run either BOSS or LOOT to set your load order. That will fix this issue.
