  1. The Fallout 4 + TESV Modding community I'm sure is much larger than the GTA5 modding community Rockstar brought OpenIV back when their reviews on Steam went to "mostly negative" within a day. Thing is, that was just Steam when plenty more people also have GTA5 without Steamworks; if you see where I'm going with this, FO4 and Skyrim are ONLY on Steam, 100% of the legal owners of these games can put down a negative review. In fact, it's already started, get the popcorn ready. http://i.imgur.com/fqzp8y6.png http://i.imgur.com/mikYe0J.png
  2. Hey, I'm trying to make a mod where if you trigger the cannibalism action, the corpse you eat gets gored up, so it just explodes into whatever would happen if you dismembered it anyone want to tell me where I should start, I have FO4Edit but I don't know how to make sense of it, I found the cannibal perk but not sure what to do next
  3. At least read TL;DR at bottom. Now I've recently found a mod that adds non-lore breaking Iron-sights to bows in the game, so now I have no need for the crosshairs really. But now one thing remains - I still need the stealth indicator. Now while it's true that IRL you don't really know when you're going to spotted, I'd still like some indication, but the HUD icon feels too much like a superpower. I began thinking to myself - what isn't as obtrusive as a visual cue, but is still as noticeable? Sound. I've pitched this idea before, but It didn't get much attention, and that was a while ago. I really want to stress this idea because I believe for all my fellow stealth players out there, that this is something they'll definitely want in the game. Believe me, if I had the knowledge and the tools to make this myself, I'd put on on Nexusmods faster than a Japanese bullet train to Kyoto. All I ask is that enough interested people talk about and discuss the idea so that it may get noticed by someone who knows how to create something like this. Here's my old thread posted...nearly a year ago, I might add. Try not to post in it, or necrobump it. It's just here to provide more context and give a clearer idea of the mod I have in mind. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/997599-immersive-sneaking-mod-sound-based-sneak-indicator/ Now I know the heartbeat sound is already used for low health, and another idea I might add is that low health be replaced with tunnel-vision and tinnitus-like sound effects. That's just one idea though, the main focus is the stealth here. If you're a modder capable of making this, don't bother asking me about crediting the idea or whatever, Just make it. I'd just like to get this mod out there as soon as possible, regardless of whether or not I came up with it. TL;DR Sound-based stealth indicator. Detection chance = faster/louder heartbeat or other sounds.
  4. Ever since I used the Trees for Whiterun mod, it's become the best looking city in all of Skyrim. And I'm not talking a few trees, I would like a lot more in ALL of the towns. I think it would really make the towns look great.
  5. If there's one more thing water needs, it's to glimmer and sparkle whenever the sun hits it's surface. I hope it doesn't seem like too much, but I feel like it's the only thing missing from Skyrim's water.
  6. Anything with a sense of rhthym is probably good for this
  7. there's a mod that changes unarmed idles to make you look like a kung-fu fighter. It's not bad, actually But you still have your elbows out when you move But yes, the default ones look pretty ineffective in an actual fight
  8. If you can find a mod that replaces the panting sound, you can look for the panting sound yourself and swap it with a silent sound file
  9. Now before you say anything, I really don't come on these forums often, and this idea was probably said before, but I think this is an amazing idea. If it already exists, I haven't found it yet on Nexus mods. I was thinking, I use iHUD all the time, and it's great, except the only indication I have for sneaking is that damned thing in the center of the screen. Now I play a stealth character, and as you can imagine, as great as I am an espionage, I still need that stealth indicator - but what if it wasn't a visual cue? What if it was a sound? What if you could hear it instead of having the all-seeing-eye in the middle of your screen? That's where this comes in - if you can see where this is going, it's exactly what you think it is, a sound loop that is tied to the awareness of enemies, that gets louder and louder, and then an alert noise if you are spotted. For example, let's say we used a heartbeat loop, and then a violin chord when "detected" is supposed to appear - you don't have a sneak crosshair, you just have sound. Now when you're not detected, the heartbeat is relatively quiet and slow, the sound file is shorter, and there is a gap between each time the sound is repeated, and the tempo of the heartbeat and volume gets louder the more "the eye is opened", without actually having the thing in the middle of the screen. That's not all, when you're sneaking, you have the normal heartbeat sound to indicate that you're sneaking, but when you're detected, even by the very slightest bit, the speed jolts up a noticeable amount, to indicate that you're not completely hidden anymore. This is a clear cue. Now you don't have to use a heartbeat sound, you can replace it with music, or have the "detected" sound as something else. I prefer something that relates to rhythm, as the pace quickens. Now something else I like about this idea is that it adds a lot to the immersion if you don't see anything in the middle of the screen, while having a sound that's relative to something like music in movies, the pace increases, and the tension goes up - I can imagine playing with this already. If you do decide to take up the challenge of this mod, please let me know, I would really love to have it. It's upto you if you want to give me credit for the idea, I just want to see this in skyrim.
  10. Personally, I love the dog and his friend, sometimes when I'm walking around Skyrim, I come across them, and they follow me for a bit and help me. When I do need to sneak though, the dogs aren't usually there, so it's all good.
  11. If I load my save from riften before the update and the new scriptdragon and SKSE, the running animation works fine, but after the new patch and the script extenders, all my animations are jacked up, my idle has turned into a looping dragon shout animation and running causes my camera to go under the map, drawing my bow makes my character pull back an arrow withohut holding the bow, I'm nto even holding down the charge button. Can someone tell me what's going on?
  12. Most UNP clothing is compatible with CBBE, and Bodyslide with the +15 sliders mod lets you make the bodies how you want them anyway. I'd say CBBE because of the tools available, not that UNP is bad, I've used Dimonized bodies in Fallout 3 and I was fairly satisfied.
  13. That didn't work the last time, my mods were still there.
  14. I guess I would like a fresh game without painstakingly having to delete every mod one-by-one, anyone know any quick easy ways to do this? I guess if I wait a year, awesome mods will be made and there will be a lot more of them japanese ones I've been waiting for, plus people getting more used to changing the coding and making the game run better, generally, I just want to wait to get a Skyrim without bugs and awesome graphics, whilst having high-quality character mods and such. Not that some of the mods aren't already awesome, but I'd like to see what I'd be able to do this November. If this can't be done easily, or there are no shortcuts, sorry for wasting your time.
