  1. This has fixed the problem for me too. Maybe this is what we're supposed to do?
  2. Yeah I've been testing every exterior entrance model and this problem will occur with every one in the location I'm using. This is really annoying to say the least >.<
  3. Okay, thanks that answered my question!
  4. Quite possibly, does pathing occur over the cell boundaries naturally then or something? I don't really know what is causing this.
  5. I don't have a solution but this same thing is occuring with me in my mod. "NorTempleEntranceHall01" will disappear if I go inside of the door to my interior cell and then leave again.
  6. Thanks! This fixes one problem for sure. The graphics aren't as good as if they were close up, but it definitely helps enough to give an idea of my surroundings when working on my project. It does not seem to fix my disappearing objects problem though. I tried restarting the CK and things still disappear. After moving around a little, big rocks disappear and the large stone walls I just added are also disappearing. It seems to be only certain large objects that are doing this. It's not that the object is gone, just invisible. I can still select the object if I know where it is, and move it, but I cannot see it. Moving around at weird angles can sometimes bring them back, or at least some of them. It doesn't seem to matter where my camera is, or what cell it is in. I tried messing around with all of the LOD settings as well with no apparent change. :[ I still have this problem as well with certain objects. What I generally do to fix the problem is reload the data I'm working on after saving. It may be related to loading different cells and coming back to the same one again, I'm not sure as the problem never occured when I remained in the same cell doing things.
  7. So I have a question to other mod makers regarding Navmesh construction. In making my mods I've run into this strange problem when modifying the navmesh around the exterior cell in Tamriel. It seems like there is an invisible barrier and I cannot create any mesh points in this invisible region around the entrance or in certain areas. Is there a reason for this? Do I need to connect over this somehow or will the pathing be okay without it? I'm bringing this up because this is the second time I've run into the issue while making navmeshes outside. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. The region between the two meshes on the hill that is boxed in for some reason won't let me make points or connect through it. It also extends on the right area over by the tree, I can't put any mesh points there. http://i.imgur.com/yJyjB.jpg Edit: Sorry I just realized I got the wrong forum section I'll post in troubleshooting in the future
  8. In case anyone has the same question here's how: Go to your cell view and right click your cell to edit. Go to the Lighting Tab. Enable the check-box Show Sky The game should now override and light your cell according to the time of day in different ways depending on the region you chose. If anyone has information on landscaping though I'm still trying to find how to do that. Happy modding! :teehee:
  9. I'm not very experienced with the creation kit yet but I noticed river objects while looking for how to do some other things in wilderness cells. Try loading up one of those and copying/experimenting with the objects they used. I think it may be a special effect for river water. Try an SFX file by searching all items in the object window?
  10. I've been looking through the light sources and I can only find a few smaller lights that are sunbeams etc. Where do I set up my dungeon for the sun as a light source so that it corresponds to the time of day in game? Edit: I also have noticed that for external cells the landscape editor is used, how do I create a landscale to edit for my cell? Currently my ground is made of landscape objects but I'd like to make some water/marshy type terrain and that seems to require the landscape editor.
