  1. This is a great move, congrats to Tannin on his new position and good on Dark0ne for having the sack to actually hire the man for his talents. Between a re-vamped NMM and the upcoming sight redesign I'm excited to see what Nexus looks like in another year or two. And Robin (if you're reading this), I've found NMM to be perfectly adequate for even an "Advanced" mod user. The only thing is that NMM requires a bit more thought & organization to how you do things on your end. My only complaint thus far is that NMM has a tendency to hang when installing large files (+2GB). The progress bars that are buried in the bottom of the UI should have been in a more visible place as well. Regardless, I've been modding since Skyrim and have amassed some 150GB's of mods off this site. NMM has had it's hiccups but it's an adequate tool for the vast majority of peoples needs.
  2. In response to post #34852575. #34856290, #34856355 are all replies on the same post. You?! ... Nobody cares about you!
  3. Robin... Phill... If either of you read this, that second mockup looks amazing.
  4. ... What is best in life?
  5. In response to post #11751940. #11757942, #11763909 are all replies on the same post. Same thing as BomberTed here.
  6. In response to post #10250505. Even if I've been fortunate enough to not have any horrible experiences since Skyrim's launch, I'm definitely with you.
  7. Went lifetime premium over a year ago. Absolutely worth it. Even if the site reliability is sometimes a bit hit & miss.
  8. I use Nuska Real Skin for Women and MacKoms Real SKin for Men personally. A bit cleaner than the originals (but far more realistic) without stepping into barbie-doll terrirory. Also AOF Believable hair I use xCe for a base on my males with a custom CBBE body myself. There's a skin texture out there for CBBE that adds dirt, blemeshes, and scrapes/scars to the body with varying leveles of severity, but can't remember it.
  9. I look at it this way; both Dawnguard and Dragonborn add at least +8 hours of content into the game. Quite a few retail games that sell for $60 don't even have that much content in them.
  10. I experienced similar problems on my 5870 2gb, and then strange FPS drops when upgrading to a GTX 680, the culprit WAS drivers, but the only way for me to resolve the issue was to reinstall Windows 7. I tried everything up to that and nothing worked. Using CCleaner, Driver Sweeper, and so on. My PC can run Crysis 2 at max at a steady 60 FPS, and it was having issues with Skyrim.. Didn't make sense.
  11. Well, it's not actually an error with FO3 itself, just a trace log error.. Which baffles me as It is a brand new, unmodded, and verified installation of the FO3 GOTY edition. I've filed a bug report and attached the Trace-log error, just wanted to know if this is a known issue with the NMM, as it works flawlessly with anything Skyrim related, and still does.
  12. Problem: Open the NMM in FO3 mode, works fine for about 30 seconds, then it spits out the following error. Now, I've downloaded and installed the Archive Invalidation Invalidated program, and run it correctly. The .bsa is in my data files... What the heck? The main directory and data folder are not set to "read only", along with all there sub folders and files. Also, is there anything special I need to do to get FO3 to play nice with Windows 7 64-bit? Or are all these horror storries around the internet still true?
  13. Why is the cake really a lie?
  14. Hello everybody, "Deadly Dragons" is by far the most popular "dragon overhaul" type mod out there at the moment. With the release of version 4.0 & above, you have a vast amount of control over dragon health, armor, melee damage. Along with the optional items, monster settings, and humanoid settings. However, I understand that some people don't want any "new" dragon types added to there game. This group of people only want stronger/more interesting vanilla dragons. We are considering putting out a stripped down version of "Deadly Dragons", but before we begin working on it, we would like to know what exactly people who are not satisfied with Deadly Dragons currently are looking for, along the lines of a stripped down "Lite" version. This lite version, if made, will be built from the current version 4.3.1 files and will have the current "config menu". So, post away, vote on the options in the poll above, and voice your opinion. If there is no real demand for something like this, then there isn't any reason for us to spend the time on it. What should we keep? What should we remove? What are you looking for in a "Lite" version like this?
