  1. I wanted to make a cloak spell that would dispel invisibility, so I made first a separate cloak (which I made into an ability), and then a concentration, aimed spell that would dispel all spells with the keyword "MagicInvisibility". I gave this to an NPC, and tested it in game. It worked fantastically well - other NPCs that I gave the invisibility effect to lost that effect, and those that I re-gave invisibility to (through a separate invisibility other spell) also lost that effect. My character, however, was unaffected. I remained invisible for the duration of the test. Though I tried adding new conditions to the magic effect (i.e. GetID Player == 1), I still couldn't get the player to lose their invisibility magic effect. Why was it that my character was so unaffected, when all the other NPCs were? I cannot understand this for the life of me.
  2. Resolved! Thank you McMuffin. ^_^
  3. Looks exciting. Keeping an eye on this mod - my rogue will be waiting to join the undead. :D
  4. I've been having a problem with my character's eyes. For no apparent reason at all, my character's eyes become these blurry, streaky globs, like in this picture. I have no idea how to fix it. I've removed shadow mods, updated my lighting mods (Realistic Lighting), and other methods, but none of them have succeeded. Ideally, they'd look like these eyes. The only foolproof method I've found so far as it to open up showracemenu, but that only works for a very short period of time before I have to do it again. Can anyone help me, please? EDIT: This can be closed, turns out it's a case of the invisibility-eyes (invisibility affects your character, so that when the effect wears off, your eyes disappear). Unless someone can give me a permanent solution?
  5. Make sure that you run your game at least once before you go offline. Even if it is just to quit moments later, just do so. Oh, and if you don't want to update remember to set your properties for Skyrim to not look for updates. Fingers crossed.
  6. I've rolled back with my character for the time being. I don't know how stable this is, but I'm using files that I backed up before hand. There's a lot of files to replace, but it is possible. Just be sure to keep Steam on offline mode so you don't accidentally update.
  7. I used to receive courier's letters just fine, the map would update and I'd be advised to head toward a possible location for loot. Now, though, all of my courier letters that I had saved in my inventory look exactly like this. Creating new ones via the console doesn't change this either (they are the same). The thing is, I did reinstall several mods (including SkyUI, a categorization mod, etc.) that might have affected this, but I've re-installed all of them, and it hasn't helped. EDIT: I disabled all of my mods and retried the game. The issue still hasn't gone away. T.T
  8. All of my courier's letters are currently broken. They all read: "To our respectable investor, It seems the expedition to " The rest of the page is blank. Can anyone please help me? :) This isn't just limited to Courier's Letters. My Treasure Notes also read "I'm close to finding the" and cut off. I've tried turning off all the ESP files. Nothing. Interestingly, if I use 1.3.10, then everything goes back to normal. EDIT: Can someone please rename the topic to "Radiant Locations Broken"? Thank you.
  9. How about if you bash someone hard enough, they drop their weapons/shield? If I'm winded from a blow from a greatsword, I'm gonna try to catch myself from falling, even if it means I lose a grip on my battleaxe.
  10. I have to agree, upping the health of every monster wouldn't really help. There's only so many blows *anything* can take. Would be sweet if perhaps you could see if you were being detected by something in front of you, in your field of vision. But you won't know if you're being detected by something behind you.
