  1. I would like to remove pipe weapons from the lvl list. I was wondering if I can delete them from the weapons tab in fo4edit or if i have to go through and delete them from each lvl list?

  3. For some odd reason it doesn’t matter what settings I play FO4 on, my memory and cpu usage doesn’t change by more than a few percent. Ex: (Averages) Low setting FXAA x4, motion blur off, 49% CPU and 50% memory usage. High setting FXAA x4, motion blur off, 55% CPU and 52 % memory usage. I never saw any core go over 63% while on high. GPU 90 – 99%, GPU memory 68 – 72% for both high and low setting. My pc specs are: i5 4960, 8 gb ram, gtx 660. I've run these test with no mods installed, and with and without enb boost, and optimized textures. There is no difference in usage while while running either test. Fps does fluctuate 60 on low, 35 on med, 35 on high, and 22 on ultra. Programs used to monitor pc: hwmonitor, gpu-z, cpu-z. Maybe I'm wrong but the pc as well as the gpu usage, and the fps seem a bit off to me. I've seen people on the forums with very similar specs claiming to get 50 fps on high. Sorry for the long post just hoping someone can shed some light on this.
  4. Hi I'm looking to try and retexture some armor. I've looked around and found several tutorials, but none were really what I was looking for. I'm completely new to texturing. So basically I'm looking for a video that will show how to retexture armor. From the very basics to a bit more advanced stuff. I've played around with Gimp a little.
  5. It worked. I was able to get the changes to stay after I esmified the file. Thanks for every ones replies, this problem had been driving me nuts for nearly a week.
  6. I add spells and keywords from one mod to another in the CK. I open wryebash and add the mod that contained the spells and keywords as a master, to the mod that I added them to. I then open the CK and load up the race and the spells and keywords are gone. Anyone know what causes this, or if i'm doing something wrong. Would really appreciate the help, as I really want to play as ningheim race with requiem overhaul.
  7. I'm trying to make a patch for Requiem and Ningheim. I've edited the stats and regen, as well as the key words and spells. When i change in CK it shows as being fine but when i load it up in tes5edit. I'm getting error: could not be resolved messages for SPLO - actor effects, and KWDA - keyword count. Also even though I've added key words (drops blood)and spells (disable heath regen) from requiem, it's not showing up as a master file for the patch. Niether is ningheim for that matter, only racecompatibility.esm. If this normal, can someone point me in the right direction of what needs to be edited?
  8. Just found the article about removing things from merge (not bashed patch) patch, it was the level list not npc's, as the bashed patch covers lvl lists. I'm not trying to merge esp's, just creating a merge patch with tes5edit.
  9. I was wondering are there any mods or types of mods that I shouldn't merge into a merge patch or bashed patch. I remember reading somewhere that you should delete certain edits from bashes patches, I wanna say it was npc's but I can't remember for sure. I'm asking all this because i seem to have a major incompatibility in my game that causes CTD's. My load order and performance are fine, so after reading that there where certain files that shouldn't be merged in merge patches. I'm thinking that I may have merge a file(s) that shouldn't have been. I have merged these same files before but I've add new ones as well so perhaps there creating a problem or make it big enough that I now notice it. If it helps I've attached a file containing my load order. I hope someone can help me with this as my game is rather unplayable when I go near certain areas. Also sorry for the slight ramble. One last thing should I merge compatibility patches with a merge patch?
  10. I'm also using the memory patch, the logs rarely show me going above 260mb. Edit: Tried turning off all mods, still getting crashes in the same areas.
  11. So I was thinking of trying to create a small home on a boat, that would travel with you when you fast travel. Like using the boat fast travel mod, but its also a player home. I'm looking for some tips and advice on how to get started with it.

  13. I'm having CTD issues. Mostly in large open spaces, particularly around Whiterun and sometimes around towns, Morthal in particular. At the time of the crashes my FPS are fine around 30, Memory peaks at about 1.3Gb, Memory Block logs are under 300mb. My system has no problem with 30-40 npcs fighting it out in front of me. I've never had these issues before. The only new mods that I'm runnung are Requiem and Vampiric thirst. So i don't think it's my system. Maybe you guys will see something that I don't because I'm at a loss.
  14. What would I need to edit in the creation kit to make the vampire lord look like my character as a normal vampire? I see the skeleton.nit, but im not sure what to do for the body texture as im not sure what the .hkx is. Also not sure what to pick for skin.
