  1. In response to post #27764610. #27785310, #27787430, #27856274 are all replies on the same post. What is so hard to understand about "since I last checked the terms of agreement" ?! I know them, I've read them and that is exactly why I have an issue with parts of them - it happens that people who educate themselves about something get upset, you know ? " have no reason to excercise that power..." Guess what : Even the media popularized numerous cases of cops exercising their power without any reason recently (things like cops shooting a homeless guy in the desert with shotguns and assault rifles, cops shooting a maybe 11 years old kid with a toy gun not even 2 second into having arrived at the scene or a cop chocking someone to death who sold cigarettes...) It happens that people who got absolute power get corrupted absolutely. (doesn't mean I've seen the Nexus staff doing something like this thus far, but if I could I would prevent abuse of power preemptively...)
  2. In response to post #27764610. #27785310 is also a reply to the same post. Things like the clause that permits Nexus-staff to just delete an authors content or to taunt members. Here are some clauses I personally disagree with, containing that : "The staff reserves the right to remove, with or without notice, any content at any time." "The Nexus staff may issue informal and formal warnings to users who break our terms of service and rules. " (notice the word 'informal' ...) "This site has extremely dedicated moderating staff who have full authority to edit and delete posts as well as ban accounts instantly and without warning."
  3. Quote : "...our belief in the passionate community we have here at NexusMods." Frankly I'm not passionate and since I last checked the terms of agreement I'm not even thinking of Nexus as a that good website anymore - All I am is being productive (as an author and consumer).

In response to post #27623835. #27624585, #27624860, #27625270, #27628155, #27628620, #27628655, #27629705, #27634100, #27635775, #27638110, #27733485, #27742210, #27746015, #27758520 are all replies on the same post. I think that's a very good idea (though I'm not sure if things like 'Better Males' should be kept on the normal page as a realism mod or end up on the skimpy because they're frankly both and mods like this one here are needed for a completely realistic gameplay)
  5. thx where can I find the Ban Appeal form ( / Unban Request) ? Is it possible to ask for the removal of multiple files at once ? If one gets banned, can he / she ask for the complete removal of his work that way as well ?
  6. Hello, I got questions regarding "closed" accounts and files : How can I delete files / mods or request the deletion thereof ? If requesting to have ones account closed, what happens to the files (if the deletion request of ones files isn't included in the "close" request or if the deletion request wasn't made prior to the "deletion") ? Both questions are in relation to the following part of the terms of agreement : "However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting ("Posting") content on the Nexus you are granting the Nexus a non-exclusive, world-wide, royalty-free license to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your content and to publish your username in connection with your content at our digression until such time as you manually remove the content yourself using the pre-provided tools or until such time that you send a request to the owners of the site for the content be removed. "

  8. Thanks for keeping the Nexus clean of paywalls - otherwise I would have done the same as some other people : remove my poo from the nexus (and probably leave the community forever too, which I'm really thinking about for the Steam Workshop...).
  9. In response to post #20094109. I must disagree that the nexus in no "public square". The Nexus is part of the World Wide Web and as such available to everyone - even if it would be locked down or only for premium-users to visit hackers at the bare least would still have access to it. The "right to free speech" is something that no one - no matter if he / she owns a website or a whole state - can touch. True, there should be certain rules to a polite discussion here but these rules should never be abused to prevent people from saying something the person in power disagrees with. (just to say that it is not being abused here as of now - as far as I can tell) And if a person rules over a whole state he / she may ban free speech but is never able to prevent people from telling and thinking what they want. Have I broken any rules as of now ? I don't think so - and if, then tell me and don't just delete my profile here. Am I "polite" and "respectful" as of now ? I don't know. These terms are subjective and even me criticizing your statement because I don't agree with it to 100% and telling you about this could be "not respectful" to some people. Do I not have to be afraid to get banned ? Yes I do and I am afraid that some day someone will abuse his power like it happens all the time as history tells us.

Also, I've recently run into an error where I was in the uploading progress for a file and the error-message told me that I wasn't the author of the file even though I just created and uploaded that file.
  11. There are currently uploading issues, thank you for looking at it ^^
