  1. Dear xs2rality - I have to thank you for this awesome map. Because there is nothing that compares to this on Bethesda for SSE - here my question: Would you be so kind tho port this over - or if I find a competent Porter would you give the permission to do so. There are so many Consol-Player that will freak out if they would have the possibility to install your great texture. If you do not mind - send a little note to my account here - or contact me on Bethesda : TOSO Thanks in advance...
  2. Hi all, I'm previously responsible for the quite succesful mod sporty sexy map and I'm looking for a 3d artist to collaborate in converting it for Fallout 4. Now as you probably know, FO4 works with tangent space normal maps where Skyrim uses tangent space normals and so far, I've bee unsuccesful in the conversion of this mid. Basic conversions using xnormals failed miserably and hand painting a tangent space map did not give the results I wanted. Does anybody has experience with this and wants to team up in releasing this mod for FO4? Thanks! XS
  3. I'm working on a tropical world space specifically for screenshots. Inspired by the Waves mod I decided on import the nifs also in this mod. However upon inspection, I noticed that the base color and transparency of the wave is done through vertex colors rather than through the texture. Nifskope can change vertex colors but only through individual input per vertex. As you can see in the pictures, it really doesn't match the environment. Would it be in anyone's expertise to fix this? PS. stripping the vertex coloring on the mesh doesn't work as also the transparency of the mesh is done here. That and the UV lay-out is kriss-kross. Cheers! 4. Skyrim decides to ignore the facegendata\facegeom\Skyrim.esm NPC Face NIF files completely. I can make all changes to the NIF files in there but no change ingame Is there a cache I should take care of? Tried: - disabled NPC changing mod -> Loads Skyrim.ESM default head instead of 000A2C8E.NIF - no conflicting mods according to TES5Edit - cleaned Save file - copy NIF of a random NPC over Lydia's ID, she still shows up as the changes set in an ESP or default Skyrim.esm I don't think I'm a n00b modder but I'm starting to doubt everything :D Solved: I figured to post the answer to my issue in case somebody else experiences it. In the BSFaceGenNiNodeSkinned node, there is a text value with the name reference of the headpart that was used to generate this face. As all the face data is present in the NIF, I didn't think the name mattered. However, if the headpart is not found, it cannot load the .tri files and will discard the Facegen NIF and recalculate the face it according to the changes made by the ESP. After chaning the headpart reference in the NIF, it loaded again :)
  5. Nested comments, woohoo!! Great job mate, it will make moderating the mods forums a lot easier!
  6. Just to help everybody out here :) The control+F4 only works when you have the "actors" category selected. It does NOT work if you have the "all" categorie selected... The face tinting works rather odd. It's kinda like Photoshop layers with everything set to 'darken' or 'multiply'. It would have been more simple to work from a 'pass-through' mechanism rather than the above....
