  1. Yeah, the CTDs aren't gone, but they have stopped almost completely. Now i mostly experience CTDs in tough fights where i have to reload like 9-12 times (i know, noob), and the game ends up crashing. Also, i have a weird bug i forgot to mention. Sometimes, when i reload in a dungeon, i fall from somewhere way up high, then after some seconds, i spawn somewhere in the dungeon. This happens in the outside too, generally spawning above a whiterun field where giants live. Like wtf?
  2. Ok, weird but it seems i might have fixed my problem by simply running skyrim as an administrator. I played for like 6 hours, and no CTD and black texture. Will report back to confirm. By the way, is there anything wrong with my papyrus? Why isn't it supposed to be 700 kb?
  3. Ok, i'll clean the ESPs and post results. By the way, the black texture problem isn't permanent, it happens randomly and if i restart the game, the correct texture appears. Also, now i that i remember, did something many people don't. I was having problems with some textures, so what i did was unpack the textures.bsa, replace all, and re-installed the hd texture mods i wanted, and removed the bsa. Could that be the cause for my problems? Also, i'll try to check what i was doing at the time of the CTD
  4. Ok, so i played for about 20-30 minutes, no crashes or black textures, and the papyrus log size was 700 kb. I've copied it into pastebin, two parts: First Part Second Part
  5. I have no ini tweaks, only transparency multisampling. I will post the papyrus logs after i play a bit. List of mods: SMIM, Skyrim HD, Ultimate Fire HD, ENB 0.108 Marshmallow, Skyrim LOD improvement, Enhanced Animations, all of amidianborn's stuff, Enhanced Night sky, enhanced blood textures, Supreme and volumetric fog, alternative whiterun, faster get up stand up animation, deadly spell impacts, ethereal elven overhaul, beautiful whiterun, alternatives solitude, beautiful riften, xenius characters enhancement, real rain, towns and villages enhanced, dual wield block animations. Also, here's a screenshot of all my mods through NMM. I installed most, if not all mods through that. edit: also, on the papyrus note, no i have not uninstalled mods and continued playing. I have enabled papyrus logging and left it for like 2 days. That's probably why it's big, i'm guessing.
  6. Only one unrecognised plugin, and that is Difficulty Revised, a mod i made myself, just changes legendary difficulty a bit. Alright, here is the BOSS log:
  7. Hi, First of all: I have SSME installed (the SKSE alpha with the ini), i ran BOSS, i have created a merged patch and even ran the memory blocks log to see how much memory my skyrim uses. It peaked at 320 MB, with me running from falkreath to riften by horse. Here is my load order. Computer specs: GTX 780 TI, 16 GB DDR3 2133 MHz RAM, i7 2600k and Crucial M4 SSD. I've been having an issue with my current skyrim installation, that sometimes some textures show up completely black. The time frame is completely random, like i just loaded a save in the dawnstar museum, went to the jarl's house, and there were some black textures there. It also can take hours to appear. Usually a skyrim restart fixes it. Happens mostly with some rocks, but i just saw it happen with an NPC's face. Picture 1 Picture 2 The black textures however, is just the lesser evil. I have been having some random CTDs, and i don't know how to troubleshoot it. I have some papyrus logs, but that's it. Happens usually after the black textures show up, but is not necessarily needed to crash. One thing i have noted, however, is when i tried to take a screenshot of the black textures with steam's screenshot management system, it crashed instantly all times. I've attached the papyrus logs in an archive, because pastebin doesn't allow text that exceeds 500 kb. I appreciate any help i can get, because at this point i have no clue on how to proceed. Thanks in advance, Niev.
  8. What do you mean the enemy can't deflect your sword away by blocking?
  9. I, for one, have always hated the way the Elder Scrolls games deal with combat. It is basically hack and slash until your enemy dies with no tactics involved. The following ideas (a work in progress, I will keep updating it) are supposed to make the game have more tactic involved, such as prioritizing parrying/blocking an incoming blow to avoid death. It should include dodging, blocking, parrying, attacking the enemy before being attacked. Anything would be better than standing still and taking the blow because your armor is good enough, like Skyrim has as default. These are the following modules: A) This module consists on improving the quick paced combat feel the game should have. It's based on killmoves, but these moves aren't necessarily finishers. Picture this: You attack an enemy that is not parrying/blocking and you give a direct hit. In vanilla Skyrim, the enemy would just groan and keep on swinging after a stagger. But with my ideas and your future mod, the player character would execute a special move that either kills the target or cripples him. It would be directly based on current health, armor, and level. So basically, you either get to killmove the enemy, or if the game predicts you won't do enough damage to kill then the player executes a special damaging move that cripples the enemy in some way. All special moves have increased damage. B) Add more normal combat animations and special moves. For instance, if you block like just a moment after the opponent strikes, you trap his sword with your shield and have chance do disarm him. If you succeed, you get to disarm him. If you fail, he will kick you and you will fall. Kind of like this: That was just an example; you can get creative! C) This is the most important module. It will include game balancing mechanics that make the above modules possible. This module involves increasing how much damage a block negates, so that when you don't block, you actually die because the global damage multiplier will have been increased. I think deadly combat balances this out pretty well, like the weapon reach reduction, etc.
  10. A mod that overhauls the third person camera to something like the Witcher 2, Assassins Creed or Lord of the Rings: War in the North. What i mean by that is a centered camera, with an autoaim crosshair to enemies you target. Once you target the enemy, you will attack that enemy only. Of course, bows would still have normal aim, the auto aim camera only applies to melee. Example: - Lord of the Rings - The Witcher 2 - Assassins Creed Brotherhood As you can see, in all of the examples, there is target system that works. Of course, it wouldn't all be automatic. For instance, there are two mages that you want to kill. One to the right, and the other one to the left. If you look to the left, the autoaim would automatically switch to the left. Another important thing would be connecting the attacks. One awesome thing about those three games, is that you can jump from target to target because there are connecting attacks animations. Like a jump animation that reduces the distance between the player and the target, and lands an attack. Well, that was it. Thanks, Niev.
