  1. Guys, if anyone knows why this mesh is causing ctd, let me know please. I'm losing my mind. It has something to do with its animation. NiTransformInterpolator could be the cause. I removed collision data, I was thinking that was the cause.

  4. I’ve been meaning to make opening/closing animations for sacks and other similar objects in Skyrim. I’ve done a test animation, everything is working in nifskope but isn’t animating in game. What I’m doing is very similar to the riekling tent (dlc2rieklingtent01) from dragonborn, so I’ve used its bones with it. I’ve attached the nif so you can take a look. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Edit: NVM, Figured it out
  5. I appreciate your help very much, I’ve found two out of three sound references I’ve been looking for. You would think sound for satchel would be close to knapsack, but it doesn’t look like it.

  7. I’ve made an opening/closing animation for a knapsack (miscpouch.nif) and everything is working fine, except the sound isn’t playing upon activation. I’ve added another textkey in NiTextKeyExtraData between the start/end ones and set 0.0 as time and Sound: DRScKnapsack as value, since the sound file location is in sound\fx\drsc\knapsack. What additional steps are required to get the sound working?

  10. I know, I’ve never seen a mesh deform for any of the static object animations. I don’t have a problem in creating new meshes, just the animating mesh deform part. I’ll do some more experimenting
  11. hello, Ive been thinking of animating sacks, pouches, knapsacks and similar soft objects. Basically what Im asking is, is mesh deform possible for opening/closing animation on static objects? thank you
