  1. It actually isn't. I was surprised to see that its not, as in Skyrim you do have to rig it to the head bone. I'm guessing it's different with Fallout as it doesn't have any bones in the original .nif file.
  2. Hello there. I am having a problem with replacing an existing hat in New Vegas. The hat im trying to replace is the "Old Cowboy Hat" and i've tried a method explained by Ghogiel but before that tried on my own. Either way, the results are the same. I'm posting pictures as well so that you can see what the problem is. I have no problems with replacing/importing custom helmets in Skyrim, but this seems weird.   4. It actually is the right one, thank you! I was really interested in finding it again cause i was a bit tired of the premade house mods with furniture and things like that. Just wanted something that would give me something to do ingame and would give me the opportunity to build wherever i wanted to. Thanks!
  5. Hello there! I decided to create this topic because i ran into some difficulty finding a specific mod for Oblivion. Years ago i used to have this mod in my game that would let me use planks and beams to construct different things. I was able to place them however i wanted. I used to drag them and place them the way i wanted and with the push of a button they would just freeze in that position. I used it to construct a tiny shack right next to The Grey Mare in Chorrol. It was really interesting cause of the freedom you had to build anything. Do any of you guys and gals know the name of the mod that i am speaking of?
  6. Hey there! Well, i don't think more items should be added to the backpack, since it already has a lot of stuff on it, it would just be too much. You could just imagine that the other things are inside the backpack. The idea about the pickaxe is good, but instead of adding it to the backpack, it would be better to replace the axe. But what if someone wants the axe instead of the pickaxe? I would need a coder to make the pickaxe usable for mining ore without having it in your inventory. A lot of variations are possible but i can't satisfy all players. I'm not in the mood for modding right now and i dont really want any changes to this mod, i'm really sorry. :confused:
  7. I made a helmet out of different Skyrim items and i have trouble seeing it ingame, the game crashes when i try to put it on. I can usually rig helmets but this time i did something wrong. I guess its because the helmet uses a lot of materials for the different objects. I put a new "BSDismemberSkinInstance" modifier as well as a "Skin" modifier to every object from the helmet and they're all assigned to the Head bone. I also checked the option "Has vertex colors" in the .nif file for all of the objects and i changed their bodypart number to 131. I pasted new "BSLightingShaderProperty" to all of them as well. I can't figure out what the problem is.

Is SLuckyD's 4.3.1 version reliable? There haven't been "successful" reports of using it yet. Looking forward to an update or alternative on the subject :thumbsup: Again, sorry for bringing this topic back a month and a half apart, but it's better than creating a new one, I think, and the subject is of utmost importance to me.

  13. first: How to make the item be dropped? when I try to play my helmets on the ground they are floating and disappear after a while, then exactly how to configure it to be played on the floor? second: how to adjust the sample item in the game menu? mine are not centralized, some appear higher on the screen other lower ...
