  1. hopefully you're using TesVsnip and not Tessnip. Anyways what it means is: CONT = a container (chest) each CNTO = an item in the CONT (chest) those instructions are just saying "copy an item(CNTO) thats in the chest(CONT) and then paste the item(CNTO) back into the chest(CONT)
  2. Some MGEF effects show up in the active effects pane and some do not. I want to be able to control this behavior, but i can't figure out where this setting is (in which subrecord of SPEL,MGEF, etc). Any help please! Edit: I'm thinking it is one of the flags in the DATA subrecord of MGEF... Edit: It is indeed one of those flags. Change the 8 to something else in 0x00008000 to show the buff. I recommend using zero, not sure what other values may do.
  3. It appears thats how skyrim does it too, was hoping there was another way. I can add a power without an activator, but not a spell or shout. Thanks - and the link is interesting too.

  5. Hello, I want to know how to add a spell or a shout to a players spellbook/shouts without an Activator. I want to do this with an .esp, not a console command. I'm looking for the specific changes in which GRUP, subrecord etc. Hoping it can be done, thanks for any help!
  6. a new strings file is needed to be created.. you should contact the author and offer to do the translation, I'm sure they would be interested. Then it can be offered by the author as another download for interested users.
  7. I'd like to remove some of the vegetables that grow around farms/cities. I've looked around in CELL and WRLD but i'm not finding them (not by name or formid anyways), so I'm thinking they are handled differently than a normal placed object. Anyone know whereabouts I may find them?

  9. Hi. I have created a mod that replaces the xp bonus from Well Rested with a health regen bonus set to last X# of hours. Now after sleeping, the effect is successfully applied but there is one issue: the effect never expires. I have set the duration on the effect in the EFIT, yet it never goes away. player.getinfo healthratemult shows a permanent modifier applied I can only figure that the expiration of the well rested effect is handled elsewhere and is set to only remove the xp bonus effect. I have also thought of another approach where I would call the marriagelover regen effect bonus when interacting with a bed, but i cant find the bed/sleep function in skyrim.esm Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Thanks for reading. I'm new to Tessnip. Below is an image of an EFIT subrecord in Tessnip which applies a 25% modifier. I want to change the 25% to lets say 50%, but i'm not sure how to go about this. I have tried the obvious of changing 25 to 50 in the float box, but when i save it reverts it back to 25. Thanks for any help! EFIT Image EDIT: I figured out that I had to highlight the button next to the float value before being able to save.
  11. There is a mod, Dynamic Timescale, that changes the timescale automatically according to your activity (iirc). Not sure if it addresses your needs or not.
  12. there is also a bug that occurs where the negative effects of rockjoint are not removed even after shrine/potion (although it will remove its label in the magic/effects menu). if you have no negative effects listed under magic/effects but one or more of your skills have a red number, then you have this bug. It will fix itself when you level.
  13. Hello. I like to use : player.modav onehanded 1 player.modav onehanded -1 This bug is from negative effects of rockjoint not being cured (from shrine or potion) even though it is removed in the magic/effects tab. It may also occur with other skill reducing diseases/poisons.
  14. Was wondering too. You can add files thru the mods tab. It appears you can't add an .esp file unless it is compressed in an 7zip rar zip fomod omod format. Multiple esp's can be contained in the compressed file.
