You can edit clothing in TES5Edit to give it the armor rating you want.

The easiest way to solve this problem on your own: Unpack the Fea Follower BSA. Open her body in bodyslide. (meshes/actors/character/feabody/femalebody_0/1.nif) Delete all the bits that aren't SlimPushupNW3. Export nif and overwrite. Do for both femalebody_1 and femalebody_0. Repack the files into the BSA or just delete the BSA and use loose files. Replacing the shape with CBBE is a little bit more complicated, but if you want I can run through how to do that as well.
