  1. Basically, I'm trying to mark a house (Uthgerd's in this case) to never respawn/reset so that it'll kinda function like a player home and I can store my items in the chests in her house. I have the location open in the Creation Kit but can't find any option or script that is linked to cell resets. Alternatively, I could replace all the chests with the base chest that doesn't respawn, but I want the whole house to act like how a player house acts and be entirely 'safe' and never resets. Edit: I believed I solved it! Just had a lot of trouble finding the actual Cell data window.
  2. The thing is that the other sword tutorial on Youtube works with the low-poly mesh in ZBrush, and that was what I was taught for ZBrush before. However that was for organic forms, so it might be different workflow.
  3. I'm working on making new models for use in-game. One of the most intensive tutorials I found was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0QvFYf_Q_E The thing is that he models with the TurboSmooth modifier on, and it looks like he's preparing the model for a good render. Do I need to go that much into hardsurface modelling a model for use as an in-game model? I've seen another tutorial where the model wasn't as 'high-res', so I'm wondering what are the benefits of modelling the way this tutorial does.
  4. Maybe add a glowmap to the eye texture like how this mod made glowing eyes for Khajiits: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4779 The combined effect might look good.
  5. I think it has something to do inherently with 1.6 I just came back from overseas so I just updated to 1.6 last night. I didn't have many mods installed as I stopped playing and was using test characters for modding work. After updating, and getting the new SKSE etc. I find my game is crashing on launch. It crashes in the default launcher. It tries to detect my graphics settings and crashes. I tried deleting the old .ini files and that doesn't work. Clicking Play and then Play the game, doesn't work, it crashes with no indication. Trying to launch through the SKSE launcher doesn't work either. It's simply not going. I'm using the latest NVIDIA drivers that were available before 1.6, and I successfully played 1.5.+ with. I checked the Steam forums and this is a common issue to warrant a sticky. As far as it's known, NOONE knows what's the problem, but appears to be linked to possibly the .exe file. Other than completely uninstalling and reinstalling, it's suggested to do a system restore to a previous version of the game .exe file.
  6. It's been done, just not the health thing: Follower Map Markers
  7. V & H really was my favourite plugin to WiS. There were plenty of other creature mods out there, so the creatures from WiS wasn't really the most crucial part of it anymore. But the V & H plugin was excellent. I ran into Mrok the Alligator the first time I ran it, and man did that guy hurt. I fought the first dragon at the Western Tower, and lol and behold he comes marauding in and picking a fight with it. It was epic, like a bigger boss just wading into what you thought was a 'bossfight', killing the boss, and then turning on you. Personally I was always hoping that V&H would have been available as a standalone, so this is a dream come through! I'm really looking forward to this :D
  8. I'm not sure why it's suddenly like this but, basically I run Skyrim fullscreen but recently the normal mouse cursor would appear constantly at the top lefthand corner, and if I click there, the whole game minimizes. I alt+tab back but it would usually take several times before it maximizes fully, if at all. It's gotten worse as even though I'm far away from the corners or edges of the screen, it would still register a click 'out' of the Skyrim window and minimize it. Sometimes it acts as if I'm clicking on the edge of the window and the whole game will freeze for as long as I hold the mouse button. Also sometimes when the minimize bug occurs, I see the Skyrim window moved to off screen and than I alt+tab it back to full screen. The windowed mode option is not checked. I don't know why it's suddenly doing this but all the random minimizing is really making it near impossible to play the game. The only things that I think could cause this is a) I tried using Simple Borderless Window at one point but stopped since it didn't benefit me. Some leftover code from that might still be causing Skyrim to play in 'windowed' mode even though I already changed the .ini settings back. b) I stopped using the ENB patched .dll file as I thought I wouldn't need it anymore with 1.4.27 Skyrim + the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I don't get CTDs, but the .dll might have helped keep Skyrim maximized. Does anyone else have this problem?
