  1. I have the same issue at first. Try to disable the hud u don't want to see in the official menu first. It will disappear. Then enable it in the friendly hud, you can try "hold to see" feature to see it showing up or not.
  2. Hi all, I recently switched to msi 7850 2G power edition OC. While I played skyrim, my screen would occasionally become like the following: I have to restart OS so yeah...it's really bothering. Has anyone run into the same issue as mine with this card or the driver (amd 13.9)?
  3. Definitely..I already rule out my whole steam data in my av. Does that really save up your skyrim startup time (from windows to main menu)?
  4. A review of a viable option: AMD Ramdisk Nothing's free, so your boot and shutdown times will be longer, but Skyrim will probably start pretty quick. 24GB of RAM is about the same cost as a small SSD. The ramdisk program is about $20.00 I got the free version and symlink'd some bsa files into it to reduce drive queue times. Works like a charm. I imagine you could install a modded Skyrim into a 24GB ramdisk; my entire Steam folder is about 20GB. Or just junction the Skyrim folder over to the ramdisk. I wouldn't want to wait for the boot to finish with 20GB of data being transferred to the ramdisk, but, if you want Skyrim to launch as quickly as possible... I use mod organizer to manage my mods. So I can unpack all bsa files. But if I plan to put whole skyrim into ram, I think it's better for me to keep bsa files. It would be quicker for read I guess due to my AMD cpu. How many gb do you put into ram? How's the loadup time? Yeah..I put 3gb ram in use of ramdisk. The OS boot and shutdown time really take hit.
  5. Okay..Perhaps another option is put whole skyrim in ram lol.
  6. okay. It doesn't work for me by remove all visual effect fx in directors tool mod. I will try to find another way around.
  7. my motherboard is sata3 already. I think it might due to the problem my 7850 2g is not powerful enough.
  8. I am now having 12gb mods with ENB, and of course most of it are texture mods. My startup time is almost 30 secs for god's sake. 6-8 to get ingame is impossible for me lol. i didn't oc my cpu. ENB and those textures really hit my performance worthly.
  9. Hi, I get '00000014' when clicking all over my character. If I click in the fire, out of my character body, it gets different IDs of the floor, walls or whatever is behind. I have tried player.addspell, removespell, sms, sme with no luck Thanks again, hoping someone can tell me how to fix I got exactly the same visual effect as you have. I am still trying to find out now. Edit: The number I got when I click on that effect is different everytime. But the number starts in ff.
  10. Anyone know what is this effect ? It is coming out of my character radiantly.
  11. Hi Guys, Please see the picture. This light regularly come out of my character. It looks like sort of lightening. I wonder if there if anyone has the same problem as I do. Is there anyone know which kind of mods can cause this effect?
  12. Hi all, I know there are a lot of CPU tests toward skyrim. But still I want to ask people who have upgrade their CPU and feel the difference. I really want to improve my start-up time of skyrim. With so many texture mods I have, the startup time is really a pain in the a**. Here is my rig: amd x4 955 8g ram m5pro 128g ssd 7850 2g oc I just recently change to 7850 and kinda regret that I didn't go for better lol. Is there anyone here with similar rig and just uprade CPU?
  13. Please see this picture: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/309131/? The body part and the head isn't matched in color. Even in the vanilla skyrim it is. But with ENB it becomes like that in the picture. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
