  1. I have a mod in progress of 'inflatable squeaky toy' weapons and it would be finished and published by now if i weren't stuck trying to add the 'squeak' sounds to them. I have spent hours and days searching the interwebs for any information on custom sound effects with basically nothing on the topic. Are there any experts out there? So far I have tried: -Reformatting the .wav files (pcm 16b uncompressed blah blah) -Reorganizing the directories (data/sound/fx/weapon/impactsound.wav) -Creating all types of sound related libraries involved with weapons (sound descriptors, markers, impact data sets) I have dissected other mods to see what file type they are using, where the files are placed, and what libraries link to the sound and the other guys seem to get it - but I am stuck. Here are my issues: -What formatting specifics do I have to follow in generating .wav files? -What programs/utilities are usually used to generate these sounds? -Is there a certain directory system that I am missing? -What sound libraries need to be created and linked for weapons?
