  1. This happens with or without mods. It happens during holidays. It's like they are all getting radiation or diseases.
  2. In response to post #37149660. #37149935, #37150095 are all replies on the same post. Ok, so reinstalling NMM and all mods seems to have worked... No clue why...
  3. In response to post #37149660. #37149935 is also a reply to the same post. I don't use any shaders or ENB. Almost all my mods all just texture swaps or small timer changes on things like grenades in pockets. Why would this be working before lunch, but not after? Steam updated, yes, but that's it and it always updates when it opens. It says no new updates for Fallout 4, so wtf? The ONLY change I made was opening the launcher to set the DOF from High to Low, and then opening NMM to turn the mods back on. Now nothing works. If it is the launcher, then seriously F**K bethesda, but if it is NMM then I'm done with NMM. I was supposed to test mods for a friend and now I can't even test my own mods.
  4. In response to post #37149660. If I manually add the main FO4 & DLC to the plugins file, I get a CTD before main menu. If I leave it as NMM sets it, all my mods are disabled and only the main ESM and DLC are active. So nothing is working right now. It was working perfectly before I last opened NMM, but now nothing works and I can't get it back again. This is beyond infuriating. I'm assuming it is NMM breaking everything since it is always NMM that causes problems. I have NEVER had problems manually installing before this and using NMM to keep track of mod updates isn't worth the endless headache.
  5. This is not working!!!!!!!!! EVERY time I close NMM it disables ALL my mods. EVERY TIME!!!!!! I open NMM, enable all the unchecked mods (that were disabled again and again and again and again, every time I close NMM), close NMM, and open F4SE/Fallout 4. It either crashes because it is missing the main ESM files or it loads and then says no mods are loaded/all mods are missing for my save. WHY?!?!? This is incredibly annoying and 99.9% of the time the problems with mods not working is with NMM not installing something or NMM just generally being junk.
  6. The point isn't what the update was, it is that it changed the number that SKSE reads and so SKSE doesn't load. Stop attacking people and saying they can't read when it is obvious to most people that ANY update will change the version number. Since SKSE is made to detect that, this is obviously an issue. If the load order is what is messing up then that is still an issue for enough people that it deserves an answer on here, not insults and other childish nonsense. UPDATE: Running BOSS can work for some, others it might not help.
  7. This is not true as of Feb 6th. There is an update that disables SKSE that is part of Dragonborn... so FYI for anyone looking: SKSE WILL NOT WORK w/ Feb6 Update for DRAGONBORN, so now we all get to wait around "patiently" until they release a SKSE update. Must have been nice for people getting it first day to try it, but now this is not an option.
  8. Try looking through the files, they are all separated into INIs, so in terms of most game settings it's just a matter of figuring out what lines do what to the game
  9. A toolset is hardly the only way to mod though, so does this mean no one is trying or that you personally haven't seen any yet? Seeing the way the game works and already having major trainers out within 5 hrs of game release makes me think there might be more to come in the form of fan made mods...
  10. Sounds like it's not exactly rape if: there are no laws about guards taking other forms of payment for fines, you are choosing that option when caught by the guard, and you are trading a sexual favor in return for charges/fines being dropped - meaning bartering...
  11. @D1 - A more functional download system should cut down on file requests, so less bandwidth issues, as a web designer myself I would see this as a "take a break to sharpen your axe" type of moment, though as a marketing designer I can see how that could damage the fan base/page visits if you require a long downtime to switch over. I'm not sure why people have issues with connection speed given the relatively small file size of mods (are people using dial-up?), with rare exceptions like the full texture/mesh conversion mods. Or is connection speed why the Mod Manager spits out the annoying "file does not exist" message for everything? That was happening a lot even before dawnguard... @wetdeaddog - Thank Bethesda for doing the user testing/market research to know how people play their games on pc -> nexus really has almost nothing to do with the increased compatibility and conflict management, this site is merely a social media platform for people to find a large number of mods without some of the quality filtering that ends up occasionally booting a couple good mods in the sea of junk - other sites have had that issue... @AngelOfPassion - That just creates more issues for the site and people trying to actually access files, even if worthless bragging rights sound cool sometimes...
