  1. Kryptopyr's mod Upgrade Leveled Items Spell should work for you.
  2. Hey guys, I've recently started a Minecraft server on a VPS because I got tired of PvP servers where at least one of the following was true: 1) No support for people who just want to build 2) Micro-transactions (store) for items, imbalanced PvP 3) Excessive lag 4) Vanilla 5) Abusive admins 6) No ability to destroy other player's buildings 7) No support for clans/factions 8) No Ventrilo or other VoIP (needed for clan/faction PvP) This server has none of that, and on top of that, it's brand new! I've spent hours and hours getting Bukkit to work with my server, and if you're interested in joining a server that has support for builders & people that want to PvP, then look no further! Facts: - Bukkit - Ventrilo: wa1.ugt-servers.com 31901 - Dedicated (VPS) - PvP /w Factions that can level up (costs iron) - PvE - Builder rank people can obtain that allows you to be immune to world PvP and stealing. You can still use the arena - Arena system with betting and prizes, + tournaments. - Will stay up even if I get no donations! For any questions/comments/concerns, You can either ask me on my Ventrilo server or PM me on the minecraft forums. LINK: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1025&t=151596

    eRepublik

I know what you mean, but the game itself really is quite fun.

    eRepublik

Hey guys, here's a fun game you should check out called eRepublik. Ever wanted to be a part of a new world? In this game you get to be a driving force in the quest to determine your country's place in the world. Whether you're supporting the United States in preserving the status quo or just trying to hold your provinces as a citizen of Croatia, this game is entertaining. It doesn't require hours of play each day, just around 2 minutes to an hour of your time. (if you really get into politics!) You can run businesses, be a general in the army, or run for president or other offices! Entirely a player driven economy and player driven environment. You can be remembered for years as the president that completely turned around your country's failed economy. The current president of the eUS (Haliman) is leading a country that's 14,000 people strong. That's 14,000 other people like you that look to him for guidance. If you play eRepublik, this could be you! See you in the new world. *SNIP* Use of referrer links in this way is considered spam and advertisement. It's one thing to talk about a game, and another to include a link to said game which helps you for every time it is clicked. These sorts of things are not allowed here. The link has been removed and the thread has been closed. - Vagrant0
  5. I found that not running the game at full resolution destroyed my fps. (Went from 30 outside to 15) Are you running at full resolution? Oh by the way, the resolution was 1920x1080 for my monitor, tried running at 1600x (1024 i think?) and I had the problems mentioned above.
  6. When you disable or uninstall the UL mods are you also removing or disabling the Better Cities UL Compatibility Patches? Those patches rely on the actual UL mods to work and will shut your game down before it starts as you describe, due to missing Master files which are the full UL mods. Otherwise I can't see any reason why it's happening according to your BOSS log. That must be it! I'm not removing the compatibility patches! Thank you for making my favorite game of all time playable again!
  7. That's a common problem when using mods and can even happen with the vanilla game. Usually it's not a problem, but if it bothers you there are other mods/utilities that can help with it. I don't use any of them since my heavily modded game doesn't crash and I can't remember the names, but you could check out the utilities section at Tesnexus. I think one is called Crash Prevention System or something similar. When in game bring up the console with the tilde key (just beneath Esc), type "saveini" without the quotes and press Enter. This will save any changes made to the graphics and other options. This is because every little thing you do in the game is recorded in your saves. especially important are mods like the UL series where you're saving in a location that has been altered to a large degree. The game can't find the information it needs in the save and so won't start. With the UL mods installed I suggest you go to a location in game that hasn't been modified at all, by any mod, and save. The testinghall would be a good idea. Type "coc testinghall" again without the quotes and you'll be taken to the games testing area. Save a couple of times so the saves are clear of mod location data, then try to remove the mods again. To leave the testing area find the door called Hawkhaven in the center and exit. You can fast travel anywhere from there. Keep in mind you may not be able to successfully remove the dependency because the data is inherent in the save game and with location altering mods this is especially so. If you try to load a save where you are actually in an altered location, as you've discovered, the game will crash. With mods that add items though, like armour or weapons for example, in most cases it won't affect your saves when the mod is removed. I don't use any of the UL series as I doubt my system would handle them with it's current mod load, though I'd like to, but is there anything in their Readme's or the comments pages about these issues? Your first two answers are excellent thank you very much. However, with the third answer, I think you miss the point. I can't even get to the main menu. The game won't even start. The incompatible saves is something I know about, and thank you for your solution for that in case I run into that problem in the future. Do you have any idea why it wouldn't start at all without UL?
  8. So I haven't played oblivion for a long time because I haven't had a good enough computer for it. During christmas I got a new computer, but I couldn't find my oblivion disc. Yesterday, I bought a new copy of oblivion GotY and all of the official plugins. I quickly installed some mods that I think look good, installed BOSS, OBMM, and OBSE. All current as of yesterday. Here are my specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Intel Quad Core 2 Q8300 2.5 GHz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (Upgrading soon to a GTS 250) Acer H233H 1920x1080 Here's my load order as well. When I hit exit game, it crashes instead of actually exiting. What I mean by that is after I hit exit game, the game minimizes and pulls up a crash screen (Oblivion has to close bla bla) and I have to hit cancel to exit the game. 2. When I try to lower my graphics settings by turning off HDR and lowering shadows, I close Oblivion (the crash screen pops up as said above) and then start it back up again. The settings aren't saved. This happens no matter what and I seem to be unable to change the game's graphics settings. 3. When I try to disable the Unique Landscapes OMOD/.esp files, the game refuses to start. OBSE pops up, then the screen makes the maximize animation, then nothing. This happens even if I delete the OMOD completely and remove it from OBMM. If I reinstall Unique Landscapes, it works perfectly. So, does anyone have any suggestions?
