  1. Fun facts: Frostfall can now be integrated into SkyRe! So even more reason to get it (if you like the sound of Frostfall)!
  2. Just made a new heavy armor, destruction and conjuration 1h Dunmer. It almost feels like morrowind when I first got there..... the DLC is much better on lower level characters. My level 35+ just kinda rolled through it (level 41 now post MQ and with full Deathbrand).
  3. Derp I can't believe I forgot this (now time to go see if I can make armor with the Dragon Aspect visual effect....)
  4. This was my first TES game, so when I first started and saw Imperials I flipped out "holy s*** its rome omgomgomg" So I joined the Imperials. (even thought they "tried" to kill me) That aside, having done both at least 3+ times, I prefer Imperials. Not only do I prefer the look of Imperial guards over Stormcloak ones, I also prefer Imperial leaders. Tulius is quite reasonable, and wants a practical solution (if he could, he wouldn't fight the stormcloaks). He has the same dislike towards the Thalmor, he just has better self control than Ulfic. Not to mention that Ulfric just feels like a douche when I talk to him. Also, freaking racist ****s. Dunmer are awesome, and you are bad for hating them and you should feel bad. The ONLY reason I see for joining the Stormcloaks is the house you get (which can be obtained by other means, it's just easiest if you join the Stormcloaks) and the cool Stormcloak officer armor. Also obtainable as Imperials, just takes longer. Plus having played MW now, I think the legion is awesome.
  5. It's not QUITE the water temple, but there are puzzles that involve changing the water level. And there are tentacle monsters at the "end". It's only a matter of time before someone figures out how Beth. did it, and make other versions. It was a pretty fun dungeon.
  6. SkyRe. For the love of god, SkyRe. Once you install, you can't use old characters. Since you're using a fresh install that's not a problem; please check it out. I can't think of reasons NOT to use it.
  7. There is a premade reproccer for Dragonborn out already. SkyRe should work fine with it.... There aren't any AI changes, I think, and there aren't full stet bonuses for new armors, but no crashes. And weapons and armor get edited fine.
  8. As far as the main quest goes.... the island is small. So traveling to the next "dungeon" is an easy affair, and if you've already done a bunch of exploring for other quest, it becomes pretty fast. Favorite part so far is Bloodskal blade, and the Dwemer water temple.
  9. Oh god really? New armor and weapon materials, some unique enchantments, very unique spells and shouts, a plane of Oblivion, Solstheim (Island off coast of Morrowind/Skyrim).... Go to either uesp.net or the Elder scrolls wiki and check it out.
  10. I don't like how Solstheim feels half the size of the one from Bloodmoon. Heck, it may feel even smaller than that. When I can walk to the Skaal village in 5 min from raven rock, and only fight a couple ash hoppers, I am pretty saddened. Compared to Bloodmoon..... It's still an awesome dlc though.
  11. I'm guessing this has next to no compatibility with mods. Just asking; because if I really wanted to respec I'd use the console. I usually just roll a new char :P
  12. It's also somehow immersion-ruining when Elenwen and this Maven b**** don't know who you are at all when you achieved for example the Archmage rank before the Thalmor embassy quest. Guuurls, I've already become someone, one might want to say o.O No, but I don't care about guards... just everyone else. Like Jarls.
  13. I already feel it's better than Dawnguard, and I'm maybe 6 hours in (3-4 quests into main story, and side quests). This might be from MW nostalgia, but the environments are pretty awesome, and the dungeons are a step up from previous ones (in terms of puzzles/traps). New gear is cool, all the Dunmer sound British, and yeah. It's pretty great. If you are really put off, then wait for a steam sale. But if you played MW, then you will love it. Even without the nostalgia, it's great. I will definitely be making a new character to come here asap after I finish on my level 40+.
  14. My first thought when you changed the water level: oh god it's the water temple. And there will be tentacle monsters at the end! o_O I did actually enjoy it, I like the direction the new puzzles are going. Vast improvement from older Skyrim dungeons. Now I am just waiting for an actual water temple mod. Make it happen nexus! I would, but my CK experience does not include environments/dungeon building.
