  1. I was hoping to find a link to some sort of profanity mod...
  2. I really don't know if this will fix it, but you could try the following: SkyrimPrefs.ini; [Display] fShadowBiasScale=1 Try it, see if it makes a difference. I had problems when taking screenshots for ATI Anti-Aliasing Pixelization Hotfix. If you have a look at the first second pic you will notice bad shadow banding. In the last image, I upped the fShadowBiasScale to 4 to get it crystal clear. I should give ThaBean credit for his suggestion. Start at 1, you should see a difference. Work your way up until your satisfied.
  3. I like it sav10r. At 1:28, the warrior inside screams with enticement. Have you seen/heard Skyrim Meets Metal on YouTube? That guy 331Erock is a freakin legend. I can only dream of plating my G-tar like that.
  4. Hi, I know this is not a mod as such, from what I can see, there is no utility section here on the forum. So I've got a cmd batch for Windows 7 Skyrim ini files that will assist novice users and add functionality for those that know how. Has test directory flags and a neat menu system. Uses a batch launch shortcut for change of font and window size. It has "bAllowScreenshot=1" for screenshots and "sIntroSequence=" for disabling Beth intro video. The question is, what other variables should I include? The assistant (batch) wont modify the ini's at all. Only system interactions will be optional backup and opening in notepad for user modification. Thanks in advance for your input into the creation.
  5. Glad to have helped. This AA bug, from the various comments, varies across different cards. I believe the hotfix would work on all Windows 7 x64 OS's with HD 6xxx series cards, well at least the HD 6870 1GB that I'm using. It is possible that there is something else that is inflicting the problem. It would take a survey to find out what systems the hotfix is working on. Would also have to take into account user issues with the hotfix not being installed to Skyrim base directory and those that forget to read the readme and expand the dl_ file into a dll file. Those user issues would make the survey imbalanced and pointless.
  6. Please try my ATI Anti-Aliasing Pixelization Hotfix http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13071
  7. I've created this hotfix http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13071 I hope it works for everyone until it is fixed officially. So now I hope you all can use 12.3 with AA on in Skyrim

  9. I found a post at steam forum by carbonic "http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2554717&p=29311870" That is what I'll be trying when I get home from work tonight. I wonder if the dll's from the 32-bit are the same and/or work on 64-bit. I hope so, it would make my workaround patch easier for everyone if there is no need for separate 32 and 64-bit versions.
  10. So,dont upgrade your drivers, this only happens to me after install the 12.3 . I'll be working on a fix for this later today. I have read about placing a couple of 12.1 dll's into the Skyrim folder so that we can use 12.3 with AA on. Will test it. If it works I'll create my own patch and put it up here on the Nexus. My report: Card: HD6870 1GB OS: Win7 x64 Pixelization 12.2/3 AA bug: Yes
  11. Thank you both, JanusForbeare and NegativeInterestRate, for your helpful replies. This may take me quite some time as I will be having to find solutions for every little step.
  12. Ah stuff it... I'll have a go at this modding thing this arvo when I get home. See if I can achieve anything at all. I at least want to find that carriage in the files and see what can be done with it. Will it be playable, who knows? I'll have no clue on what I'll be doing, but I'll be thinking 'I'm doing it!' ,probably, lol at the end result, cry and go to sleep.
  13. I've got an idea. This would involve modelling and textures, NPC creation, and a good understanding of mod creation. I do not posses any of the above, so I need to pass this idea to someone who is skilled, and would also love to see this as both story orientated and practical asset to the player. OK, Gypsies Caravan, my initial concept for creation, if I could do it: 1. Take the carriage model used in the opening cut-scene, re-model into a caravan (http://gypsywaggons.co.uk/). 2. Add an interior to the caravan. Just the essentials. Small bed and chest. 3. Add the carriage with horse attached to Riverwood. 4. Add an NPC, possibly a gypsy women, next to caravan in Riverwood. She may have a quest for the player that results in the NPC giving her commitment and caravan to the player. 5. Add player ownership and control to caravan as quest reward. Hopefully somehow the player can sit up there and drive the caravan. Assign the Gypsy as a follower of the horse/caravan. 6. Gypsy should stay with and defend the horse and caravan till the death. If you decide to take on this great opportunity, please let me know here or by message. Perhaps I could help in the quest's story creation. Regards, Guru82 P.S. To Do, possibly, in no specific order: * Add a furniture marker to the seat at the front of the wagon, as you can't currently sit there. Or find the marker used in the opening scene if it can be found. * Use TetherToHorse to attach the horse to cart. ^ Thanks JanusForbeare and NegativeInterestRate.
  14. Hi there, Please give this AutoHotkey script, which I have spent many a fine Skyrim gaming hour on, a go. It's called Direct Input Paste and you can find it at http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11034 Current version 2.4 features: Copy a console command from Desktop and simulate paste into Skyrim console. Switch between Skyrim and Desktop fast without using Ctrl+Alt+Del Task Manager trick on fullscreen Alt-Tab. No more double Alt-Tabbing back to Skyrim. Tune your master volume with your Keyboard. For those that rely on multimedia keyboard volume control. The best you can get. Currently only 70 downloads out of 2,179 views! That's only 3.21% :[ and absolutely no downloads of latest version 2.4 currently, really makes me sad :'( Don't be shy. You can open the AutoHotkey script in notepad and decipher the content. You can decompile the AutoHotkey compiled executable and decipher that also if your concerned. Please try it and endorse if it works for you. Thanks.
  15. Hello all. I'm new here. I'm sorry to get in here and put this in sort of off topic. I just want to share with you my AutoHotkey script which I've been working on extensively of late. Over the various versions (7 versions total), I believe it has come to a point where it is ready for the masses. It allows simulated paste to your Skyrim console with Ctrl+Alt+V which has a limiter of 100 characters on one single line as to prevent gameplay hijacking if used incorrectly. It also has an alternate to Alt-Tab with Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow switch to Desktop and Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow switch to Skyrim. This is a workaround to having to open Task Manager, Alt-Tabbing and then double Alt-Tabbing back to Skyrim when full-screen. Currently I believe many viewers see the low download count and ignore my work. Mostly ignored because of previous hard to follow description and own comments about its possible user issues with the hijacking of control. I just want people to have the freedom to paste to that console, switch to desktop easy and change their volume with keyboard hotkeys. I would like you all to try it. Go to http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11034 and try Direct Input Paste v2.4. Please endorse it if you find it useful, and don't forget to leave a comment. Thanks.
