  1. I am floored - just tried what you advised (changed the filename to f_helm032_0010.evhl as per the rest of the entries under helm) and it worked perfectly! https://gfycat.com/EmotionalDiscreteBats I will try these out with Sunglasses etc later, but thank you very much for your help.
  2. So, last night I discovered a pretty annoying (if difficult to uncover) bug - after having downloaded UberGrainy's Better Ponytail, I was disappointed to find that the physics on the ponytail itself are completely broken when worn with the Vaal Hazak beta headpiece (the little hat). I went through the list of headpieces in the armoury, and found that several headpieces have this problem. Namely the Sealed Eyepatch, the Shamos Sunglasses and the Vaal Hazak beta piece. It's as if no physics are attached to the meshes at all. Note that this also occurs on the vanilla ponytail. It is not the fault of the longer ponytail mod. Yes, the ponytail is broken in your house/Astera/on expedition. https://gfycat.com/HealthyConsiderateHeron <- showing the frozen ponytail in action https://gfycat.com/HighPhysicalGoldenretriever <- frozen ponytail wearing JUST the headpiece in question https://gfycat.com/AstonishingAstonishingLeafwing <- turning off Vaal transmog and reverting to the layered Samurai set fixes the hair https://gfycat.com/RewardingImprobableArchaeocete <- comparing the Vaal headpiece to the Guild headpiece I am hoping this is fixable, but if not I at least wanted to post it here as a bug (because I could find no info at all during my searching) and I doubt Capcom will fix it. I don't know enough about CTC to even guess at how these could be fixed. I tested this along with another hunter online, and he came to the same conclusion also. I can't remember if this bug is on PS4 or not, I'll have to go back and check.
  3. I can't find the cause of my crashes I persistently keep running into in this cell - I'm talking the cell that includes Drela's Cottage/Eldersblood Peak/Rannveig's Fast/Northern Cold Rock Pass/Southern Cold Rock Pass. From every angle, I get a CTD with the Windows error message. I have turned off all mods and tried a fresh install, but I get the same result. This is incredibly frustrating because I have also had to deal with the 1.8 Karthspire fatal glitch that caused me and some others a lot of pain. Papyrus isn't helping and it is not a mod conflict that is causing this crash. I have discovered and cleared Drelas' Cottage, so I was able to enter this cell before. Luckily, this cell isn't very important (no radiant quests are there, there are two Dragon Words I can learn via console and there is one Stone of Barenziah in Rannveig's Fast) but it's bothersome, and I'd like to find the cause (although I'm guessing it's the update). Is there any way I can find the cause in the CK, if I load up the broken cell? I can use the console to discover and complete the locations, I suppose, but I'd rather do it properly. Any tips/help would be appreciated.
  4. A tutorial on how to do it myself would also be appreciated, if anyone knows any. But yes - a replacer/out-right removal of those two loading screens would be lovely. I mean, have you seen the "girls" face? Brrrr. *could've sworn I spelt Hearthfire correctly in the title. Apologies.
  5. This is reassuring. I'm certainly up for seeing more fairness concerning mod authors and users. Just as users are not allowed to "troll" the comments, mod authors should not be allowed to "troll" the users. A certain town expansion mod that added incredibly high unleveled enemies to places new level characters would be exploring (that were not mentioned anywhere in the description) comes to mind.
  6. Hi all. Trying my hand at retexturing and having difficulties. Basically, I have a texture I'm happy with, but it comes out very, very orange in-game. Pic (WARNING: VERY ORANGE) - http://i.imgur.com/UKFYJ.jpg Texture in PS - http://i.imgur.com/09Cf5.jpg I'm very new to texturing actual 3D models (only worked with 2D before). I can't figure out why I lose the details/contrast on my texture and why it goes bright orange. I'm wondering if this is something to do with the normal map (something I'm still working on). Note: the head texture in the screenshot is Bellyaches' for comparison. Any help on this would be most welcome!
