I've modeled a few storage sheds around the major cities for the same reason, really simple - just a small shack with 3 chests, some weapon racks, and bookshelves. I haven't played Skyrim for a while, let alone mod it, but I think I could make a "attic" room that you can buy permanently in some inns scattered about. Other people are free do try this if they want to.
